General Music Chat

Benefit jam went okay. It wasn't well organized (I didn't organize it, just the hired help). Everybody there gave us some real compliments. There was a huge number of volunters, so much food handed out. I think there were more volunteers than homeless people attending. How do you contact the homeless about such an event? On their cell phones? Laptops? I'd do it again but I'd rather be involved in organizing the show. It would go MUCH smoother with NO PA problems and EVERYBODY getting a chance to jam. It seems like to me that there's always a few bands that have way too much PA power and NO IDEA HOW TO CONTROL IT. We got through it somehow but the sound could have been WAY better than it was. I opened a few eyes who have never heard me before. There could be a few more fisherman bob sightings soon...
