dude it sounds like something I could incorporate into a jam tune I have, at least it'd need a lil refinement for what I have but its in the right direction just have to separate certain elements and keep others going the riff you start at :55 feels like it wants to be a intro to a song with a heavy bass line similar to like Mudshovel by staind or Save me by Shinedown...but I could be wrong, but the spacey effect sounds pretty good to me just gotta remember how jazz works thats all

LOL That gives me a good idea for a heavy jam..

You lay it down and it's heavy like, "Ego the living planet" with no vocals and at the break it goes silent and loud vocals come in that do nothing but scream "SHUT YER FING GOB, gob, gob, gob...", with some quality echo..

Yeah, that's a whole tune..LMAO

(bows)

It's not my magnum opus, by hey faq it.. lol
Even hot dogs have filler in them (2% Fly Hair)

Oh Capt, thanks for that image... but I do like the song idea. I dare you to record [if you haven't already] and put it up. Makes for a good laugh for sure.

Alright..

Sheesh I knew someone was going to say that.

(head down) lol

I am still trying to lay down 2 other tunes as well as finish that last one I was working on for the forum in particular and I am getting very little cooperation.. Funny how that works..

Let me beat the gong loudly and see if I can get people in gear. (bribes, threats and coercion)

(I still can't lay tracks by myself as I need some more software and my laptop is acting like a spoiled child)

i don't think all music has to be so structured. I like seeing artist's break away from the conformity of the overly formatted music that has ruined modern music IMO.

I knew this bass player from other bands that used to call me Mr. Predictable because all my songs were straight forward, structured rock n roll. We got together with a drummer to see about putting together a new band using mine and his originals. All of his, I could easily follow, but on mine, he couldn't follow the different breaks I had put in them. And they weren't THAT hard, just different from the norm. Needless to say, that project fizzled.

Nah they didn't do it all right. Close, but nah. Plus half of the programs/hardware that I wanna use aren't compatible. Linux is the way.

I've been working with Linux for awhile, New PC, dual core, lots of RAM, everything I need. Newest version of Ubuntu. Keep having issues, though. When I boot up, everything works OK, sometimes for days. But, all of a sudden, my sound won't work on all applications unless I reboot. It seems to depend on what I listen to, Youtube, myspace, mp3, movies. Can't get much help on Ubuntu forums because all PCs are different and that makes a big difference on how Ubuntu operates. Looks like I'll have to change back to XP and I HATE that.
