Howdy fellas..been a while since a post, but thought for those who have an inteest in this genre(christian/worship) you might like to hear what sorta stuff my wife cooks up.
It's just piano & vox for her first CD
Second is in the works, wihc should feature more instrumentation:such as...pipes & whistles!
:)

Cheers friends,
Rich

cool stuff. For some reason, I wanted to watch Braveheart the whole time I was listening... in the back of my mind, I'm seeing paint-faced-Mel screaming "FREEEEEEEDDDUUUUMMMM!!!!!!"

Man Rich, she sings beautifully!!
The music is great as well!
This is sooo much better than %90 of the bubblegum Christian music I am hearing on the radio everyday. My boss and my wife would love this!!
I am going to turn them on to her site.
As for myself her delivery of the Message is beautifull. I feel the Christian Music Genre' just lacks power. (no offense my friend, just my psychotic opinion) I was raised in the sit still and sing pretty environment.
Now when I conclude my worship, I am soaked with sweat, I am out of breath, and I wake up sore all over. God not only moves me to spread his word, but to stand up against the cockroach lifestyle I used to live.
I wont hide my candle beneath the basket no! I wont take it up on the roof top either. I'm going to burn the house down!
May The Spirit, humble me as a man. And give power to my music.

Thanks fellas.
And sans, I'm in agreement(I think!) of the bubblegum...
I really dislike a lot of the recent years pop stuff aimed at the 12-16 year old crowd.

I can't wait to get her 2nd CD together: there's some really awesome tunes coming...

Rich:

I want to purchase a CD for my wife and help support your wife's mission. The credit crunch is biting my butt hard right now so keep us posted on her progress. When I get our finances squared away a bit I'll be back.

God Bless

George

Absolutely beautiful music. Much Kudos to your wife. It must be lovely sharing something like that too with your spouse.

Can I ask a question please?

Did your good Lady get her songs copyrighted? It's something that is bothering me a great deal. I don't find it easy writing stuff, finding the right mood, right theme, but when I do get something it isn't as bad as at first thought it was?

Anywho because it takes me an eternity I'd hate to get ripped off, I'm studying that other thread on this too.

Sorry for the distraction you could answer on the other thread.

Lovely stuff in any case much luck with everything.

Chippy
