I posted a new track in my profile. It's the first track and is called "let t go". THIS IS THE ROUGH MIX. Unmastered and needing some tweaking, but I couldn't wait to share it with you my bandmix peeps. It features my new Wurlitzer that I just had to have. It is a new recording of an older song. I wrote it about 5 years ago. I played the bass while a great friend played drums. I then added in this order rhythm guitar, 2 lead guitars, 2 lead vox, 2 backing vox, then a 4 or so more backing vox at the end, then I added the wurli. The wurli is my new best friend. I wrote the song on piano. I recorded it with Jake Dempsey at his red room studios. I traded motorcycle repair skills for studio time. Gotta love horse trading.

Yeah the 'barter-system' iz the best. Sounds good. A feel-good up-tempo song. Reminds me of early Beatles or Strawberries (I love that sh*t) . I couldnt hear the Wurlitzer all that well tho. Good stuff, Paul

Yep, turning up the wurlitzer and the rhyth guitar down is one request I made before mastering gets done.
Wow! This is the least amount of response I've ever gotten from a new song posting.

Don't get down. It's not over. I haven't talked to you in a million years. I listened to your tracks. Badass. That was the ROUGH mix?!
I wish my finished tracks sounded that good.
I've been really busy lately. Looks like you've been too!

Site just a little slow these days Paul. Lot of regulars have projects and gigs going on. Even ME!
I would not have been here myself. I had planned to break down and pack for tomorrows show But My wife stuck her new car in the mud (in my daughters front yard
) I had to go out there after work with my Jeep and yank her out.
Very up beat tune. I was thinking more Banana Splits than Beatles.
I dont really have anything constructive to add being as it's a rough mix.
Turning down the RG should decrease the tinny sound some. I will give it a more modern sound as well.

Well hey Hunter! Long time no see. Great to hear from you thanks for listening. I am playing 3 dates in TX! Looks like you're not close too any of them though. I will be playing Austin, Dallas, and Nacogdoches.
Thanks for the input sans! And tell the wife I said no more muddin with the family vehicles!!
Heck, Paul, you're so proliferate! I saw this thread way down on the list & thought I'd already heard & commented. Then I thought about it, & remembered that I've never actually looked at your profile! I'm an idjit! I've looked at your youtube stuff often, though.
This, for a rough mix, is pretty good. As always your vocals are dead on, & the style is throwback pop, which I like.
Yeah - bring up the keys a bit.
"Nothing But Wrong" is excellent, man. I like that heavier sound, & didn't expect that from you.
"Long Way Home" is weird but good.
You consistantly put out quality stuff, Paul. Hope we can meet at the meet & greet sometime.

Thanks Philby! You know that's Jimmy Danger on "nothing but wrong". Yes it's heavy. Three words describe my musical drive - diversity diversity diversity.
I'm going to play Charleston on my second tour, but it looks like that's too far from you. I am playing Ohio, PA, Detroit, maybe DC and or Richmond all on my second tour towards the end of May. I would love to shake your hand. It looks like I'll get to meet Sans in TX!!

Cool song a little retro for me, but I liked the arrangements the vocals, harmonies and guitar work.
Rock on with your tour they gonna like you.

i really liked the harmonies at the end. Paul said he came up with those AT the recording session.

Sounds great philby! I'll give you a heads up on what tracks you might want to play with.
