If you are going to plug it in at high volumns thru the p.a. you will definately need a feedback buster (rubber thingy that plugs up the sound hole) looks like a good value!

thanks I'll try to remember that when I really have to worry, so I'm assuming that I can't just plug it in to an amp or effect pedal, crap....oh well if I get a PA that just means I'll HAVE to get the synth talk I want for a couple songs I know, drat

Some years back, an excellent chick bass player I know was doing a duo with her old man. My bass playin' wife and I went to check them out, and, much to my surprise, our friend was proudly sporting a very cool looking new acoustic bass with a built in pickup. Sad to say, We couldn't hear the friggin' thing! I hope, for your sake, that technology has advanced since then so you don't end up with the same problem!

That bass you're getting does sound like it would be great fun for an "around the campfire jam",however.

If ya really wanna play "low down acoustic", I suggest you do like my son, and pick up an ol' Kay upright.

oh yah howlin I plan on learnin stand up one of my older friends has one hopefully I can pick my grand dad's brain a lil bout it too, funny how this music stuff works musicians have musical children, from the reviews I've read on it, its an awesome piece I'll let you guys know for sure, probably be the next tracks I put up
