Contest Name: MyStudio & Project Ethos Battle of the Bands

Description: Project Ethos (www.projectethos.com) is a showcase that features fashion, music and art. Only 3 music acts will perform at the showcase taking place at The Vanguard Club in Hollywood, California (www.vanguardla.com/vanguard.php) and your band could be one of the acts to perform for a high energy audience of over 2500 people on March 27, 2009. Colbie Calliat was the featured act in March 2007 and is now signed to Universal Records. One Republic was featured in July 2007 and is now signed to Interscope Records. And Meiko was featured in February 2008 and is now signed to MySpace Records. This is your chance to get exposure to some of L.A.’s best music publishers and record labels. Does your group have what it takes to be seen? All genre’s of music welcome. Contestants must be age 18-30 and perform original music.

To create your video you can go to MyStudio located at Scottsdale Fashion Square mall. Record your original (four minutes or less). Create a free profile, activate your video and click the Enter Contest button below and follow the easy steps (the contest is free to enter).

Prize: The winning group will have the amazing opportunity to open for a well known artist (to be named at a later date) and perform their best 30 minute set at The Vanguard Club in Hollywood on March 27, 2009.
