Now They're Dead

It's 4:22am

I lost control of my steering!

Not teaching the kids to swim
Was probably our worst mistake
Because now they're dead!
No more living on a fixed income
I lost a daughter and a son
I get tears in my eyes whenever I reflect
But a big smile on my face whenever I collect
Because now they're dead!

One of the strangest songs I ever heard was "Intergalactic Laxative" by Donovan. I forget what album it was off. I guess Donovan was trying to figure out what happens to human waste matter on a space mission. The lyrics are quite funny. Me and my brother (God rest his soul) used to sing it together. People thought we were insane (they were right).

Strange, huh? Okay, I do a spoof of Stairway called "Stairway To Freebird," by the Rev Billy Wurtz.

It's quite strange that you would mention strange music in a strange post. and considering that my music is pretty much all strange, I feel strangely attracted to respond to this strange post...

Nah, wasn't about me and I didn't write it. My singer wrote it about a true story that happened here a few years ago. The dude drove his whole family into the Detroit River. Of course him and the wife got out, all the kids drowned. We were performing it one time and a woman pulled a knife on us and told us to quit playing it; turns out she was the kid's aunt. Small world.

Pulled a knife! Man what kind of moron brings a knife to a gun fight?
Gibson and Smith & Wesson. Both are wireless.
That family would be getting smaller by the day. Must be the shallow end of the ol gene pool.

hah. I got a song called Strange Surf, that's ironically the least strange song I've ever written.

I think most of my tunes are wierd LOL...here's lyrics for one of them...you can hear it too, should you want to. Follow the link in my sig and the tune is called-"The Ballad of Ironhead"...the other tunes there are kinda wierd too-lyrically...not so wierd musically-pretty much rooted in 4/4 and vanilla chords. . I'm a better guitarist than sound engineer, obvious by the demo. It's not horrible though. The first 2 songs in the list have better production, I think. The Boss BR 600 is a handy little thing!

Wrote a fukin strange song a few years ago and someone fukin ripped it off and made bags of money

was about this deer bitch who was running around and an alien fukin shot her with a ray gun which only just missed me! I ran really far to escape the so-lar gun that i ran a over a fukin tee-pee and ran full fukin circle back to the fukin deer bitch
