He only reports on documented evidence. Anything he say's is verifiable! He provides hyperlinks on his web pages for the actual document's.

I gotta tell you I am proud to be a Texan, but all this economic downturn began with a Texas Republican Senator Phil Graham he is the one that got the already ignored laws repealed that President Roosevelt had enacted seperating investment banking from commercial banking because of the obviouse conflict of interest. I voted for John McCain because I believe in the conservative way. And while I don't believe that we can continue to do what we have done to get us in the position we are in today (living beyond our means borrowing and spending) our way back in to prosperity. The bubble is going to burst and it ain't going to be pretty. I used to listen to conservative radio a lot and lately it sickens me to here that they are already blaming Obama for the countries woe's and he inherited this mess from you know who and while I don't agree with a lot of his policy's give the man a chance Damn at least he can admit when he makes a mistake and I like his transparency Ideas. It turns out Phil Graham was wrong reistate the outdated laws controlling the gready investment bankers before as it probably already is to late. I have come to one conclusion while it is a necessary evil POLOTICS SUCKS

Sorry HK, I can't watch it here at home. We have no sound on our computer because of a recent crash. I will watch it at work Monday morning. I have been home sick all week with the flu man this one really knocked me on my arse. I left work early on Tues. and I took off the rest of the week (thank God for all that accumulative sick time at work) the state gives you so much you can't use it all (knock on wood).
Any way like any musician I have been saving up for a couple of months for a new Mixer for the band an Allen & Heath Mixwiz3 162 the best small format mixer for the money and instead of buying a new computer, I finally order it yesterday the mixer I have been using just was really limiting us a Yamaha MX 12/4 we were using a Yamaha v96 digital mixer but that belonged to the rythm guitarist that just left the band do to job responsibilties. so I had to use my old mixer, But not anymore Woo Hoo

Well, so it's the same States Rights speach I have been giving for 20 years and being called insane.
This is EXACTLY what the Civil War was fought over from 1860 - 1864.
And States Rights lost. The slavery issue was already being resolved by economics and mechanisation. It was just a blow job much like global warming and gun control to prevent crime.

George, I believe you"re being a bit reactionary. As the populations of the world increases and information technology spreads it is going to cause at the least an uneasiness in different cultures and religions. Look at the reactionary fundamentalist Islamic movement. Convergence of capitalism and socialism was inevitable. What I hope for is taking the best aspects of the two very different econmic systems and merging them into one very effective system. Everyone is fearful of the massive changes that are taking place in our government. What I hope for is that taking the entirety of the changes will actually be a good thing and not a bad thing. Some of the new programs will be a waste of time, some will be beneficial. Hoefully we'll have the good sense to improve those programs that need improving, dump those programs that are not working at all, and expand programs that work. that's all we can hope for at this point. I don't think any time soon anybody is going to take away your guns. There's too many people that are opposed to that happening. In a lot of ways we already have worldwide cooperation. As far as some evil worldwide government taking away all your rights, taint happening. There's too much diversity in the world. The "smart web" is actually a good thing. It enables people around the world to communicate freely with each other and learn about each other (kind of like we're doing here on Bandmix). My basic philosophy is that the majority of people are generally good. We have seen countless times throughout history despotic regimes that were ineveitably toppled. good will always overcome evil as it has throughout history. Don't be paranoid about the sweeping changes being brought about in the United States. the final outcome will be good, I'm sure of it...

By the way Hayden your youtube video was removed. Some evil one world ruler must have done that...

What words I can say. How many guns or what type of car I can own. Where or when I can pray. That I must tolerate theaves because its societys fault, not there own.

I will agree that perhaps with time it will swing back in favor of the individual. A melding of philosophys. Collectivism will not work. Nor will ANY form of centralised government. History proves it. Are we doomed by greed to repeat the same mistakes?

I don't know of any socialist countries that do any of those things-

Sweden doesn't tell people how many miles they can drive, but LONDON does

New Zealand doesn't tell the citizens how high they can heat their house.

My biggest concern is the Representative government - No time in history has it worked long term. The closest was Rome, and it crumbled under corruption, and history seems doomed to repeat itself in the UK, USA, Canada, etc..

Capitalism, unfettered and de-regulated for the last 30 years has brought this country to it's knees. I've always felt that capitalism in itself was un-sustainable.. think about it, in order for capitalism to survive, you need constant population growth. They say the max pop for earth is 7bil and we're at 6.x billion right now. Within 10 years, we will be over the mark. We need social programs that lean strongly towards finding green and sustainable long term solutions, which capitalism can't possibly provide.

I don't mean to dis you on your beliefs, but in a world view, we actually do need a one-government world solution, eventually.

Think about 500-1000 years down the road, what do you see? Still 150+ separate countries all still squabbling over who genocided who 100 years ago, and who terrorized who else before that? No, we need to work together, all of us. Sooner or later, because if we don't, we are doomed to destroy ourselves.

I totallly agree with all you said Kramer. With the exception to the need for centralised goverment.
I also feel that slowly and painfully free enterprise will self regulate.

Agreed we must have checks and balence.
If all of us treated our brothers as we would be treated.
If all of us showed respect for ourselves and others, as you seem to. The type of goverment we chose would be irrelavent.
As far as that goes, we would need no goverment.

Corruption, the human way of life. No form of goverment has worked long term. Only anarchy.

A free market economy without regulation will never work. Greed will alway try to draw most of the wealth to the few, and those in need will never be provided for. Social programs are a must in any society! The best way to judge a society is by how they care for their elderly, veterans, and those who cannot help themselves ie; The physically or mentally handicapped, orphans, and those without family.
I'd say we're a miserable failure in all of these. We allow corporate interest to dictate public policy and therefore the needs of the masses are always pushed aside.
I for one am sick and tired of seeing my tax money going to pay Halliburton for empty caravans of delivery trucks and 3 million meals that never got served; why is that if I steal a roast to feed my family the courts will put me in jail for it, but if I steal several million dollars from the citizens... well have you heard of any charges being filed againt anyone in Halliburton yet?
