So I just got this today for 2 reasons:
1. To record, since my Shure mic can't plug into the laptop just like that.
2. To use my headphones after I screwed up the laptop's input jack thing.

Now, the recording sounds fine. A bit quiet, but I haven't messed with the settings yet. My problem is with the headphones. Mine have your usual 1/4" jack, but it doesn't fit where it says headphones.

Here's a pic: Image
See the middle one where it says PHONES? Well, it's too loose :?
Read the manual bout 3 times and went to Tascam's site. Nothing helpful. Any ideas/solutions?

I'd try another TS connection to see if it's the jack or your phones that are the problem. If it's the former, send it to Tascam or someone else and see if they'll fix it for you. If it's your headphones, you might have to try getting another pair, or seeing if you can replace the connection. =/

The headphones are perfect. I looked into it a bit. I think I need a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter :?
