Trower's another good one. Probably not so underrated in his time, just kinda got overshadowed by other greats as time went by.

Andy, hang out with whoever you gel with. Music is ageless.

John Cipollina - Quicksilver Messenger Service

Innovative and accomplished.

For the uninitiated, here's a good example of John's playing on the classic 60's tune "Pride of Man"

Good call! (Tom also played awsome keyboard, invented the power soak, plus helped design the Polaroid SX-70 land camera!)

I think Warren did get some recognition back in the day. He was right up there with Vito Bratta, George Lynch and Nuno.

I feel that Tony Rombola from Godsmack doesn't get enough credit. Unless if you've seen them live, people think that Sully is the one doing the solos, not Tony (who I feel is a total shredmaster as determined by Realign and Straight Out of Line). I agree with Wes Borland, but anyway. I also feel that Jason White (tour guitarist for Green Day) should also get a little glory for what he does, so yeah! But by FAR, Tony beats the sh*t out of both Jason and Wes by a mile!!!!
