Hey Eddy when you learn some theory then you'll understand why you play so well. Combining theory and your natural ability and you could become a seriously dangerous guitar player.

Best o' luck, Eddy. I know it'll help & it can't hurt unless you get a teacher like my dad who puts ya off the whole thing...LOL

Make sure yer teacher knows about the dyslexia (hey! I CAN spell it!) to help him/her understand how to approach things better. (Cuz on 2nd thought - having you chart out yer neck would prolly drive you to distractions. I'll hafta think on how to teach that better to ppl under your circumstances.)

There are some ppl that just can't match up in the teaching process. I had one kid brought to me who was just a mouthy headstrong lil guy. His mother told me he had certain learning disabilities. I tried to be patient, but after 3 lessons it was obvious that I wasn't the person to teach this kid. Felt bad about it, but my patience & abilities were stretched to the point that I had to tell his mother to take him somewhere else.

That one taught me a lot about my own limitations as a teacher...& as a person in general. Some of it I didn't like too much, but whatcha gonna do?

Yea, Ed. Keep at it, man. Teachers can be a pain in the ass, but as long as you work hard, you should be comfortable with those lessons.
