For me it can go either way. Usually when I write a song it's at a time of intense emotions. I can sing the song in my head. With any luck if I remember the tune We can stick a few chords down on a try page and the band members develope their own parts from that point.

no problem, I have a bit of a sarcastic, dry sense of humor...I confuse allot of people. But ne thoughts on the song above I posted some parts?

Nope. No comment. I can say that every time I read the lyrics I kept imagining a emo polka band in full make up and German lederhosen with an accordion and....

I think I need more sleep and less music history of the German composers. =)

German Emo Polka band!?!? lol That has to be one of the funniest things I have heard. Hmmm...maybe I should start one of those bands... And that was just meant to be a weird song. I guess I should post the lyrics of songs that are complete.

I used to work with a guy who was in a polka band and wore liederhosen (sp?) I kid you not. He played in 2-3 bands and got gigs constantly!! I've apparently ended up in a very weird part of the country..

I write music really oddly. I write the piano part, then I try and find a melody. I don't EVER rhyme stupid stuff like "you" and "do" and "true." Beer and drugs shouldn't ALWAYS, but why listen to me? I'm only 15...

Yes Ive played a couple of Octoberfest with a pseudo polka band.

We would wind up playing this over and over again.

I actually have some fond memories from those gigs.
