Hello.. whoever it was that sent me a bandmix email... sorry... but I don't think I can access it. I don't pay bandmix to have the email priveleges.

You should be able to access it. I don't pay anything and I get e-mails quite often.

Thanks Jessica... if I may bother you further... where exactly do I find it? I didn't see anything to do with email messages in my profile area... and clicking on the "My Account" link just prompts me for a credit card when I try to sign in.

You should have a message area. Just click on new messages.
Unless it has changed. I have been a paid member for quite a while.

No trouble at all.

When you first log in there is a box that asks you to upgrade to be a premier member next to your picture, under that is a box that has this exact text in it

MailBox

* Go to your Message Area
* View Saved Messages
* View Sent Messages
* Messages in the Trash

Click on Go to your Message Area and you should be in your mail box.

Believe it or not... lol.. i'm not being prompted to upgrade. For me... this is what happens:

(a) When I sign into the forum section of the site... the minute I hit the "submit" button to submit my username and password... the very next window that opens is... the forum section. No email message area here.... just all of the forum posts. No option to upgrade in either of these 2 areas.

(b) When I click on "My Account" (whether i'm signed into the forum section or not) ... I get a signin prompt... which transfers me (regardless of what I do) to the page where they want credit card info. No email message area. There's just a "submit credit card and pay them money" section.

Either I really suck at navigating bandmix... or something is surely working a tad differently for me.... lol. I'm willing to believe that I suck at navigating bandmix.... lol.

Thanks for trying to help .... but I don't think its going to be found... lol.

NOTE: Please don't send me messages via bandmix.... Unless of course I hire Jessica to retreive them for me.. lol.

Ok, that is very odd. Well, there is another way to access it. After you get on your profile page, up in the banner there is a list of different options for you to click on. One is Mailbox. Give it a click.

Also, don't try to sign in on the Forum section. It always messes up when I do that. Use the actual bandmix log in page. You might have to change your password to get it working ( For some reason I have two passwords. One for accessing through forums and the other for the Bandmix Homepage).

Sorry but... no there isn't. Apparently... I don't get a mailbox... lol.

ok... i'm going to play with this thing for a bit... because now its becoming a puzzle. I almost want to figure it out for spite now ... lol.

Ok, one final thought. Do you get a notification through your personal e-mail? If so, there should be a link. Try clicking on it.

That's my last thought short of actually fishing around your profile to find the problem.

Good news.. lol.. I found it. However... thats an interesting little mess.

If some may recall... I mentioned on another thread that I had to sign up twice... as because the first time I signed up.. the system wouldn't let me signin after completing the signup info..etc...

... so I signed up a second time... and well... here I am. The reason I couldn't find the email message was because... it was in the inbox for the first account ... not this second account.

I guess I need the first account to read email messages... and this second account for forum posting... lol. Should I get a third account to listen to music?... lol.

Thats just too funny.....
