well Bob, you know those lead guitarist are a fickle bunch sometimes...
don't worry, if there's any position that has plenty of replacement's, it's lead players!

Hey Bob. Checked out the music on your profile. In the words of Lloyd Christmas..."I like it. I like it a lot". Check out our version of 'Hoochie Coochie Man' Compare and contrast as you like.

Thanks for the compliment. Been doing this for a LONG time, started playing pro in New Jersey in 1980, moved to Kansas City in 1987. Your band sounds fine. Hoochie Coochie Man is a standard tune with us. I've been performing that song for over twenty years. Other tunes I've done forever are Mojo (on my profile page), Hideaway, Sidetracked, Washout (Freddie King instrumentals), She's Tuff (Fabulous Thunderbirds), Pride and Joy, Mary Had A Little Lamb, etc. We also play a lot of our own tunes (three are on the profile page). We do a lot of covers our own way. They have a way of evolving over time. We do Blues With A Feeling by Little Walter and it's nothing like the original version. Deaf, Dumb, Crippled and Blind by Tinsly Ellis is another tune that we've radically changed over time. I'm glad to see people still doing the blues. Are you getting any gigs where you live? I know when I lived in New Jersey there were a lot of great bands from the Piedmont. The blues tradition there is very strong. My favorite blues person of all time is Bill Blue (that's his real name) from Richmond Virginia. Good luck to you...
