Has anyone ever had a guitar case with a combo lock that just changed codes on you at all? Like a wheel slipping or a faulty combo lock just goes to hell? I just had this happen and had a medium sized panic attack when I could not retrieve my beloved 78 les paul. Luckily these combo locks on my case are made to simply slow the opening if you cant get it right, and you can easily slip the wheels to the side and find the pins. I am sure this has happened to others, what are you opinions on cases? Meaning Key vs Combo vs just simple latch?

I don't use the locks on my hardshell cases (although they do have key locks), simply because if someone steals it, the lock really ain't going to compel them to give it back, and it sure ain't going to stop them from getting into the case by more than two minutes.
