JW - the stickers don't bother me that much, it's your guitar after all, I just don't want 'em on mine. My guitars suffer lots of belt buckle damage too, and I beat the crap out of them when I play. When I'm done though, they get wiped down and stored in the cases, I never leave a guitar covered with sweat before it goes home. Offstage, they're well taken care of, but once the band cranks up, they're no longer there to be looked at...I play hard, beat them to get feedback, or strange noises, slap the strings and hold a harmonic (try it sometime, neat harmonic), I've also been known to pull a Vai trip and hang one by the whammy bar and shake it around, and of course they occasionally get bumped against amps or tables...I'm not nice to mine either...I just don't believe in stickers. If you do, what the hey, like I said it's your guitar...

All in good fun man, all in fun...

Capt my 72 Gold Top and my 89 Classic Reissue dont have stickers just for the record.

My daughter and I get into decorating my guitars, its not like you cant clean them up.

You would be suprised how many people remember you for the stickers or they say stuff like u, "I cant believe you would put those on your guitar!" Once again I feel some kind of reaction is worth it!

You guys have a good day!

Im getting outside its supposed to get up to 60 degrees here for the first time in a while.

eeek, I would only over put stickers on an instrument I didn't respect.

If I put a sticker on one of my mian guitars, I would expect trouble coming my way.

Now as far as my crappy basses are concerned, that's where the stickers go.

Especially my ibanez roadstar II, that bass pisses me off and is mellowed a little by being laden with too many damn stickers.

If I had a reaaaallllly good bass, I wouldn't sticker the damn thing at all.

Good Eye Shredd

Yea this strat will scream. But Im a Les Paul man and I found out that nothing works for me like a Les Paul. When I used to play straight up Top 40 and blues type gigs I liked a Strat, but once I got my first really good Paul, Ive never gone back.

I do force myself to play the Strat.

Capt, I play with a lot gain on the guitar and strats just are way to noisey for me most of the time.

We all have our own taste and I respect that, but I know what works for me.

I dont look at stickers as disrespect just my own warped personal modification. Also its a lot harder for someone to run off with a guitar when its all gusseyed up like that. Ive also found that it doesnt change the tone of the instrument.
