thinking about joining up with me so phew that would help.
I love all kinds of music but I do favor rock, metal, and electronic
music the most.
I put up a few songs on here for listen but you can check out some other
songs on my myspace page http://www.myspace.com/fearsend777

everyone seems so nice and talented.
A lot of people have excellent advice on here and
I have learned a lot in these past few days.
Thanks all for your wisdom and I am looking forward
to many cool posts and music from here on out.

Thank you Philbymon :)
I love Heads Up...that one is very catchy.
You have a great recording and great songs.
What do you use to record if I may ask?
Thanks Bobby, did you ever decide
what you were gonna do with Beer Drinkin and
Whikey Sippin?
Cool tune so it is fine the way it is.

Tnx Eric. On "Heads Up," I used a plain old vestax 4-track that has since passed. It was recorded in my living room. The keys were Korg DSS-1.

The other two were written by the singer, but I'm advertising my bass work more than my songwriting, rhythm, & voice, these days. I did sing b/u's on the other two, as well as the bass. They were done on a PC with Cakewalk, & ADATs.

Yeah, I like his song. I was gonna try to get the band to do it. Good tune, but I dunno if they'll wanna go that way, as it seems like all the material ppl are coming up with is rock & pop stuff. I still might try my hand at recording a version of it, just to see where it takes me. This one just seemed to grab me, for some reason, as being one I've heard in here that my lil band could do, & do well. (I might hafta "dirty it up a little," though, & sing "Beer Chuggin' Whiskey Shootin'," the last run through the chorus, just to rile the audience a bit.)

I was just listening to your stuff again. You have a very '80's kind of sound. It's good. I like those little echoing lines you have going on in the background. Almost Floyd/Waters- or Alan Parsons-ish.

Welcome Eric.
And thank you for posting music for me to hear.
I like the up beat direction of your music though I can live without the electronica infulence, that is just personal preference.
Keep rockin!

Listened to your profile Eric.
Awesome! I dig the genre mix up. You have your own sound (at least to me) and you are a very talented. You are my neighbor. Bay Area. I am not in to electronica, but you know what, You have made me reconsider my views.

Let me know when you go gigging. I will go there to support you. Stop by sometime if you like.

You rock! 5 stars.

Question is: Do I know what I'm going to do with this song? I'm hoping to find a band that would be interested in it and would want to record it. Would like to sell it for a 50/50 deal. Me keeping the copyright to it......

Wow thanks Philbymon!
I love Pink Floyd, Waters or Gilmore (preferably both hehe)
and Alan Parsons stuff. So that is quite the compliment.
Excellent bass playing, you are definitely melodic,
skilled, and versitile.
I think Heads Up reminds me of Genesis (before the pop phase hehe)
Gabriel era or even ELP...so in other words awesome!
So what kind of music or band are you shooting for?
Well keep rockin that bass!

Hey thanks sanshouheil, I appreciate your compliment.
I just listened to your bands songs and I have to
say I salute anyone rockin for Jesus and also that
the tunes are great!
I really dig You Guide My Way and risin\ Inside Me.
I am usually the more polished guy(as you can tell
on the type of songs I like to write) but I also
love me some pure raw rock n roll.
I love the rawness and energy of the band.
Which instrument do you play?
Oh sweet I noticed you grew up on
Kiss and Aerosmith, I love those bands!

Thanks AlexanderN,
I am so glad you dig what I do.
I also think it rocks that we are neighbors!
You know what that means?
It means that eventually we will either jam
or play out at the same show or be at music events
so it will be cool to meet another cool musician.
Thanks for the 5 stars(blushing hehehe)
See I grew up on every type of music
you can think of but loved 2 styles in
particular metal/rock and electronica/new age.
So I was totally into Kiss, Def Leppard, Asia,
Journey, Metallica on one end and Vangelis, ATB,
Chicane, Robert Miles, Alan Parsons Project
on the other so I have been torn between the 2
worlds. So I thought why not combine the 2.
I will let you know when I gig...but it may be a bit
from the looks of it.
I just need to get out and really pursue
the bars hard and heavy or festivals.
You be sure and let me know when you
play out too I would love to come check out
the show and your skills.

If you decide to sell the song Bobby you should try
Nashville or get in contact with the publishers for
Alan Jackson or Toby Keith, I think they would dig your song.

FearsEnd:
Raw and unpolished we are. The recordings are streight off the PA during live practice sessions. No production envolved at all.
I play Lead / Rhythm guitar. As Ray our Front and I exchange lead rolls depending on the song we are doing.
Ray, Steve (drums) and I are all newbs. Eric our Bassest is a seasoned pro.
Thanks for the listen.
Ray wrote You Guide My Way. I wrote Risin Inside Me on a lumber recept off the floorboard of my Jeep one morning at my return from work at the hospital around 2am. I handed it to Ray and by the end of practice we had a song knocked out. Eric wrote My Sweet back in the 70's as a poem. Steven as well as others outside the band have provided us with poems and lyrics.

You have a great voice Eric, only a couple of barely off-notes that I could hear, excellent skills and talent. Instruments too. You can really belt out those vocals! Pro- Quality. I can hear radio-play with that 1st song w/ no problem at all!

Hey thanks ZXYZ,
I appreciate your honesty and compliment.
Sweet! Thanks I am honored that you feel
one of my songs could be on the radio.
I just listened to your music and beings I
come from the 80s rock world I love what I hear
especially The Golden Key V and The Carr.
Your music seems to have that spirit of
Van Halen or Kiss which are some of
my fave bands. Your vocals definitely have
a zztoppish feel but at times Ozzy.

Thank you AlexanderN,
I totally think it would be
cool to meet and I would love to
check out the studio you rehearse
at.

Thanks repressthecadence,
I am glad you like my music.
I checked out your song.
There was something wrong with the player
though...it was like buzzy and sounded warped.
I hope this is just a temporary glitch on bandmix.
I can still hear the song and it sounds awesome!
I love the drive and the recording sounds
very professional and the vocals sound great.
Nice to meet you all :)
