Yeah , back when I could lay in the bed and piss in the toliet, life was GOOD 
(No Pain)I guess only drummers understand.We dont live in the days anymore where ALL I have to do is drum and stay in my own lil world of time sigs, lead sheets etc. Ive gotta SEE what the F is going on.A mic in front of my face has ALWAYs kept me from using my best techniques and 90% of the time in the past, it stayed outta the way when not needed.Yeah , if we polled lead singing actively working drummers , I say they'd be quite few nowdays...The times have failed me.Everybody else gets to enjoy all their new toys technology brings.Time for a new invention...
