Take it from me my friend. These "silly" steps can save lives. I grew up working in an environment where burn deaths were common, and the ability to count to ten without pulling off your boots was rare amoungst the older generation. The few minuets it takes to shut down and restart can be all it takes between being a guitarist and being a fan.

Good luck with your surgery I am sure everything will be fine, keep us posted as to how you are doing when you get well enough!!!!!

Hey all just got home from surgery .That's how well it went .About an hour they capped the the middle tip and pinned the index finger.In the cast for a week remove the pins in two then onto therapy.I already bought one of those finger strengtheners for guitarist.[Man I was awake for most of it could hear them grinding the bone down .Sick]Talked about guitars with the surgeon till they told me to shut up [dew to the drugs ] Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers it helped .Gonna go crash [sleep] now .See ya

Hey all Happy New Year .Sorry for the delay Surgery went very well,They capped my middle finger and put pins in index 9 days ago .Already out of cast , pins out in three weeks ,[The Dragon lady] Therapist already squeezed the crap out them .Still seeing stars [More meds please] I just ordered one of those finger strengtheners for guitarist .Can't wait to play again .I'm working on tube amp mods right now to keep busy .Mainly Epiphone Blues Custom 30

Hey everyone it's been awhile.Hand is doing great ,I had the last of the pins removed yesterday [Can I get an Amen] hurt like hell but ..I've even started to hold the guitar I played three bar chords ,again hurt like hell but I still had a big" ole" Smile going.Well got to get practicing got a Harp gig tonight See Ya Dave
