Hey, ditto what phil says. I love the song, These Walls. It has a nice distinctive groove. I love the blend of Celtic/Rock. I also like the hint of acoustic guitar. Best wishes to you.

Hi there,
I could only make the video work... well thought out song indeed with good comunication to make the changes happen with everyone together at the right places.
Has someone in the band got Irish roots?
I often heard moments of Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits with good melody coming through.
I guess that song was your gig finale from the way you finished it; I will try to get to hear some of your other songs when I can open that other link.
Thanks,
Mark D Phillips..................

Hello again,
That irish/Scottish connection explains the atmosphere and underlying harmonies and rythmns I was getting from the song at times.

I too know some of the Hebrides quite well, and I wandered down through Ireland on my motorbike and sidecar a few years ago, though I live way down south in Sussex England... Cornwall is really where I go to breath the sweet air of possibility!
I will listen to those new songs you sent the links to, thanks.

Hello Coast,
I can remember three trips thinking back now: first was to The Isle of Mull, next time I went Kintyre, Uist, Harris, Lewis; then most recently in 2004 when my daughter was a year old we went up to Skye, then Harris and up to Lewis and saw that fantastic arrangement of standing stones as old as Stone-Henge, but these you can sit among rather than just walk around the outside of an electric fence 200 mtrs from the stones.

Scotland is beautiful, but the towns are dark and dull and don't have real beer (real ale); so I caught the ferry across to Northern Ireland which is dark and ale-free like Scotland, then over the border into Southern Ireland, where the towns are colourful and full of life... but the beer is still crap, unless you just like Guinness all the time.
Down the west coast to Galway for a night, I met up with a guy from Pensilvania, and a man and wife from California; I remember remarking how funny it felt to be out on the town with three friends, and for me to be the only one from the UK.

I caught the ferry from Cork in Southern Ireland to Wales, and rode my motorbike and sidecar at top speed round the Bristol Channel and down to Land's End in Cornwall... because the ale there is the best in the world!
Such great memories,
Mark................

Hello again coast,
I forgot to add, that if you want bagpipes, my brother is very good at pipes, but might need me to blow and squeeze the bag for him!
Let me know audition dates!

I thought you guys were going for a kind of Pink Floyd thing. I am surprised that PF was a surprise to you.
