So what's your favorite partyin' stuff to get ppl dancin' & reminiscin'? What are those partyin' songs that you've never played, but always wanted to? I'm lookin' to upgrade FR's song list to get more of this kinda thing. It might seem cheesy to many of ya, but I figger whatever works to get ppl having fun is what I'm gonna do with these guys, if I can.

a cpl of my faves are

"Bang On The Drum All Day' - Todd Rundgren - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kB7IsMnbC88

"Bottle of Wine" - The Fireballs - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILZgcvHKYmE

"She's Hot To Go" - Lyle Lovete (a good one to showcase the entire band's abilities - always wanted to do it, but haven't gotten the chance) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkDnW5xAus8

OMG! You have GOT to see this one, if you haven't before. I never saw the video, or even ever heard the whole thing before! (& NO, I don't wanna do it!) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipZDG6__Zfc

ZZ Top - LaGrange
April Wine- High Roller
REO-Got to keep on lovin you (slo-dance)
Nugent- Cat Scratch Fever ( I hate that one but crowds used to love it)
-- What age group are we talking here? -or does it matter- probly not 'cause everything is retro-and music is universal and prettymuch timeless -in this time cue..

Years ago we did two songs that got people dancing. I can't tell you who wrote them or who recorded them.. The first one was called The Crawl and the second was The Walk. They were really lame but people loved them. Mustang Sally still gets people up dancing. Another obscure blues tune that got people dancing was Snatch It Back And Hold It by Junior Wells.

Haha... funy you should mention that because the guitarist who wrote that tune was my guitar teacher when I was 11 years old! It was his claim to fame and he was collecting $$ on that tune waaay back when! Believe it or not, he was a cool dude and went out of the box from taditional teachers back then and taught be some cool exersizes and tunes besides the dumb boring Mel Bay book!

I think you guys will be like "wha?!" but when it comes to a party, the only band I want playing it are the B-52's.

Maybe a few others... but easily my #1 "let's get drunk and party" band.
