You guys are gonna laugh, but this constitutes blizzard conditions for this area, we have about 3" of snow on the ground and it is snowing heavily, if this keeps up we will pass up the great snow of 1971 where we actually had 6" on the ground, the kids are building a snowman and having snowball fights, WooHoo!
haha that's the funniest shyt ever!
Ah.. you ain't seen snow, Haley, you ain't seen it lol

You brats better slow down..

78 and 81 here in the East of Texas lots o snow for these parts.
If you dont like the weather in Texas, wait five minuets it'll change.
J- I was born in Corpus. We used to go out to Padre all the time. It was pretty clean in the 60's and the fishing was good too.
Just had to be aware of the diamond backs in the dunes were no such thing as public restrooms.

Snow in Houston? That's perfect evidence of global warming. Proof positive that it's warm everywhere else. Later...
Hello Crip2nite and everyone,
As your pop-up UK correspondent!
Here in Sussex it was freezing hard and dry this morning as I took my five year old girl to school in the motorbike and sidecar; but then afterwards riding further south towards the coast to find petrol (sorry gas) the trees were white with hoar frost and there was a fine drizzle falling as our next Atlantic system moves in off the sea.
So it's getting warm again it seems, but after that the wind will swing back up to Siberia to freeze our bits off again... I prefer to ride to school in the dry cold, even snow!
I heat my little cottage with logs and coal and we have kept the log fire going day and night for a couple of weeks now.
Season's greetings chaps!

Hello Sanshouheel,
Nice to hear from you... this morning (it is 13.43 here) I listened to your songs on the profile and wrote a mail about them!
Anyway, that later: yes Mr Shoe heel, it is pleasant rolling green hills and fields with many river valleys running through around my house here.
I live a few miles from the small town of Heathfield (a one horse town!) and Tunbridge Wells is around 13 miles north of me, with Eastbourne the same distance south on the English Channel.
I am a lot closer in miles to France and Belgium, than I am to my favourite most inspiring places like Cornwall and Scotland, where I ride to now and then on my motorbike and sidecar.
You need to realise that tip to toe of the UK (forgetting our islands) is hardly 1,000 miles, so I feel quite a long way from big towns, where the same distance in the USA I would be a suburb almost?
Mind you I am in the south east of England which is the most densley populated corner of the UK... Scotland is vast and just has a population of a million or so people.
I feel so lucky to have been born in the UK, though perhaps everyone in the world feels much the same (except Iraq!); but I think after travelling to quite a few other places, that on balance there is nowhere better to be than in England... sure we find plenty to moan about, until you try to take it from us, then it's a fight to the death!
I was arranging to fly my motorbike and sidecar across to the States to wander round for a season or two, but life and sex stepped in, and I ended up getting as far as Ireland.
With music back in my life I don't feel the same desire to go off and travel alone; and as much because my daughter Roseanne is nearly five now and I just want her to be with me everywhere to miss nothing, so now I have a touring caravan (trailer to you!), though she says she wants to ride to Cornwall in the sidecar now.
So what's it like in your life Mr Shoeleather?
Cheers,

Hello again Mr Shoeleather,
I forgot to say, that you won't need a Smith & Wesson over here, as our most violent people are the police, and some of them carry nothing, while the most heavily armed ones have a very nasty rubber truncheon for wacking American tourists round the head!
The USA I believe has around 10,000 people die each year of gun crime; we average 190 in the UK; and Canada that has more guns per capita than anywhere... averages 26 dead!
Funny old world is'n'it Mr Shoeleather!

Sanshou is a Chinese form of sport combat. Heil is my German surname.
Hence sanshouheil. I studied Kung Fu fought and taught for about 20 years. Our Band was formed and practiced in my Kwoon. Hence Nosey Kung Fu.
I live in the Eastern Part of the State of Texas. We have rolling hills, lakes, rivers, and much forrest around. I and my family live about 5 miles
from the small town of Kilgore it was rural when we built, now more urban.
But I can still shoot on my land, and hunt some on surrounding farms and ranches. East 60 or so miles to Shreveport Louisiana. West 1200 or so miles to New Mexico.
And only fools or liers blame inanimate objects for the violent acts of men. I carry my S&W because its my right and my civic duty to defend the weak against those who would pray upon them in my presence.
I will give it up only from my cold dead hand.
Canadians must be poor shots.
