God even cares about people who dont care about him.
A little of that would go a long way folks.

Hmm... hope Im not treading on toes wading in from across the pond in the godless UK... but how can we tell that... "God even cares about people who dont care about him."
As someone else pretty much said, there seems pretty little evidence that god even takes much notice of people dying of the sorts of things you would think would be right in his sphere of influence, so why is he going to stick his head up and get involved or make himself known through someone's rockband?

Sorry if this sounds thoughtless of feelings, and I appreciate the USA does a lot more god type stuff than we do in the secular UK, but the "we've got god on our side" angle always gaulls a bit!

Nothing to forgive Mark. You have a right to your oppinion and to express the same. Those who don't know God the way I do ( me and my father are close) Often see the pain and suffering in this world and say, Humm if God is love why do we sufffer so. The answer is quite simple, Sin and the influence of satin. The promise of peace I recieved is that of after I lose my final battle in this realm with satin and death.
And no I dont claim to know or understand all.
All I do understand is the Spirit is with me.
My earthly father loves me, and wont hesitate to punish my wrong doing.
I love my daughters and sons, and wont hesitate to punish their wrongdoings.
So much more my Heavenly Father.
We were created in his image, indowed with the privildge of choices.
He is not responsable if we choose poorly. We are.
