John-
It says "Enable Direct X effects" which does not have a check-mark by it.

I like The Golden Key...vox remind me of ZZ Top, sorta.

Nice axe work. Not crazy about the tone, though. Nice sustain.

Best of the three, imo. Good work.

Thanks! That one was circa early 90s, recorded on an analog tape 8 track. The only thing I added with the pc studio was the flange in the middle (which got accidently erased on the original recording). I'm trying to dig up everything with vocals, instead of being a strictly instrumental tune-ist.. (word?) Even tho I cant sing very well.
All the tunes I write seem to have space for vocals. Probly from the early band days when the singer would put them in. One of our singers used to make up lyrics on the spot. The songs would all be different every time. Was kinda strange and funny at the same time.. heh..

Hey man,

OK, well, you havent enabled them yet..Now, what Im curious about NOW is, if you go down to the bottom and click refresh effects list, what does it do???.(It will say , this may take a minute).ALSO, tell me if adobe 2.0 has any guitar FX in it like Tube Screamer , or amp modeling, or decent distortion /overdrive parameters? (tell me their preset names if ya would please), Have you used it at all?
Ok, that will be todays question installment.. RSVP ASAP..

Thanks ,
John

A little box popped up, it said "Refresh effects list? (this may take a little while)" , I clicked yes. It took a few seconds with the little bargraph completion thingys, then it said (well, it displayed) "completed refreshing effects list". Hope that helped.
They have a distortion (I dont use it) flanger , echos (multi-tap etc) reverbs and a lotta VST plug-ins (some that i do use) and a whole lotta other sh*t I dont know what it does..
Good luck with getting your bike back man. Hope you catch the f*cker. :x
You gonna post your song with the Gorilla amp? Like to hear that.
Yeah the noise reduction and hiss reduction do work real well on most songs. Had 1 song that it took too much out of, but works good.

well POOOOOP, ...Man , I found some killer FREE VST BUT, Adobe wants to a lil bitch and not support them...AND , to top it off , the "crunch"doesnt work on this lil gorilla I borrowed. I guess Im gonna just use adobe's distortion and compress the crap out of it , THEN FLANGE it... That'll work wont it???

Thanks for the info,
John

Sounds like they're being a pain in the ass. :?

You're welcome. I dont think I was too much help tho.

As far as it working or not; if it sounds good to you, I'm sure it'll sound good to us. Put a clip up when you're done. I'm sure we'd all like to hear it.
Cheers-
-Steve

PS- yeah I think I read somewhere that adobe doesnt support CE or Aud1.5 anymore. Only 2.0. Sounds almost like a BGates' company .. heh-
