Truth. Sounds a scam to me. Not only that, I don't listen to the radio, and couldn't care for it anyway. None of what I like gets airtime anyway, so why should my music, in the same style, get any? I guess people fall for this crap.

Yeah, if you're inexperienced, they'll tear you apart, and if a controlling producer gets his or her hands on your stuff, I can almost guarantee it won't be your own anymore. There are so many opportunities (many of which are very inexpensive) of getting yourselves out there through promotion and independent production.

ya i started playing in the 60s--grew up listening to cream--hendrix----stones ---etc.--etc.---you could'nt even get close to a recording studio unless you were signed to a label-------now a days a guy--or girl---with an internet connection living just about anywhere---the woods---an island---in a tree---------etc..who has a small studio---table top 8--16 track or a computer seteup--can write ---record mix and master their own songs and upload them to a website and sell their music to anyone anywhere in the world----not bad---not bad at all-------woldwide exposure---now i'm not saying that everyone who puts their songs on the internet is going to become a star------get discovered ----whatever-----but before the invent of the internet ---you had to rely on a recording company--record label---to decide to release your album---and that's if you were signed to a label and that did'nt guarantee your album was ever gonna see the light of day-----not anymore'''-----------now granted there's a lot of good music and bad on the internet----well recorded and also bad recorded music--------upload your songs and let the world decide if it's anygood------------AAAAHHHH'' TECHNOLOGY'''''-------DUMP THE MIDDLE MAN---------peace ---blind albert
