It has a Neal Young kind of feel to it. Vocals could come up a bit, and could use some fills or solo's in the intro and between verses but my guess is you were probably already planning that. Sounds good!

Do you have a good set of flat responce studio moniters, when mixing this is an absolute got to have! when I first started recording in my home studio I went out and bought the best pair of headphones the Guitar Center had $200.00 they are great for tracking but they are not flat response. I was having that same problem untill I got those flat response moniters. You can get a half way descent pair for around $500.00

Yes I can barely understand them, but then again I am a 50 year old guitar player rocker that has been standing in loud bars playing thru a 100 watt Marshall 3 feet away cranked to 11 for the last 30 years, you might say I have a little hearing damage.lol

I like the idea. I like the lyrics. For some reason I just dont think you pulled it off right. Sorry I cannot be more specific. Perhaps some well placed pauses perhaps some voice inflection changes. I dont know.
It could be a dramatic tune yet I dont feel the drama.
My appology if this makes no sense, it's a hard thing to convey feeling with the typed word.
