My STICKMASTER buddy was convicted of a felony (B&E, grand larceny)back in the early '70's, & he swears that he cannot vote because of it. Evidently, this is not necessarily true, but it's probably too late for him to address it & vote now, since he's passed the registration deadlines. He hasn't taken the time to check it out. There are only two states that deny felons the right to vote? I didn't know that, myself. It evidently depends on the nature of the felony, in other states. If it were me, I think I'd check into it a bit more, & I don't think he has.
