She's not in Hillary's league. Who said that she was? Not me.

Dumb? That's where irrationality ruins a reasonable argument on your part.
Are you dumb enough to be elected Governor of your state? Dumb enough to be the most popular governor in America? Dumb enough to breath life into John McCain's campaign and give him a shot, when he should not even be in the game?
America could use more of that kind of stupidity.
Many people confuse intelligence and capability with sophistication. Palin is a very intelligent woman. She would rise to meet any challenge presented. She is clearly not well informed on international issues. But she is also the kind of person that would learn in 3 months what it would take most of us a year or two. I think I am a very good judge of intelligence and character in people. She'd make a better president or vice president, than George Bush, Dan Quayle, Jimmy Carter or maybe even Joe Biden? He's certainly more experienced and polished, and yet he shoots himself in the foot all the time with his own words. Plus she is more honest, and probably more faithful to her core values than he is. He's a pretty decent politician, but he's a politician nonetheless.
She's getting a bum rap folks.
I have watched video of Obama talking about visiting 57 states so far. 57 he said, and was about to go to the 58th he told the crowd. No one corrected him, and he didn't catch his error, even though he repeated it several times.
Does that make Obama "dumb"? For the life of me, I don't understand, even with exhaustion, why someone would say over and over that they had visited 57 states, but clearly he is not an idiot merely because he made such an incomprehensible statement, as evidenced by his other statements and appearances we have seen.
I have seen alot of video of Palin in debates and in interviews, all before she was nominated for VP. She is relaxed, intelligent, and in control. One of the things that stands out to me, is that she is the same at home as she is in office. There is no front persona, no politician. She's real. This is evident from the documentary she was a part of. The director followed her around for two solid days, hours and hours, upon hours and hours, and he said that usually when he films politicians or people in office, he'll catch things, misspoken words or actions, just changes. He said he was impressed at how real and down to earth she was. She was the same at home with the kids as she was in a meeting in government. He said she balanced everything so perfectly, that it was amazing to see. She could maintain her professionalism and her familial roles at the same time, without either seeming to suffer for the other.
This is a worldly "sophisticated" city dweller, filming her, as he has, dozens of others, yet SHE impressed him, and made an enduring impression, when he orbited her world for two days.
You may not like her politics, and we can agree that she is not as informed on international politics as any of the other three candidates. But clearly also, she is a very intelligent, capable and accomplished woman.
She may be many things, but dumb? Dumb is not one of them.
