George,

Id have to say this was the best one weve done yet. Not the most people but everyone there was ready to party and I dont think anyone left for the whole gig.

The lady that runs the place said shes never had a crowd like this and especially one that stayed all night and spent money.

On a side note I probably had a little too much fun at this one. Those Yagar bombs are bad news, whew glad to get thru that one in one piece.

The blonde in the picture with me is an old school friend, that I havent seen in a long time. I told her man you look good, and she said so do you, really made my day, the only problem is her husband wouldnt let me borrow her for a little while and I couldnt get her to participate in the "Hot Mama" contest.

Speaking of "Hot Mama" contest we had our biggest turnout for that, I just didnt get any pictures of them lined up cause everyone was on their feet and you couldnt see them. And then to top it off we lost the controller for our smoke machine so we just set it up on a timer, right as the contest was ending this thing goes off and smokes em all off the stage, classic rock n roll moment.

Another moment was we were playing Sweet Emotion and at the end where it stops and goes into the guitar solo section we blew a breaker right on cue, the lights and all the sound went out at once just like we planned it on cue. Pretty weird, a couple of guitar players in the house were asking how did you do that. Karma I guess.

We also had 3 guitarist sit in on the night. Its kinda cool to get to step back and listen to my band with another guitarist playing. All I can say is my band sounds badass even without me up there. Uh oh I better be looking out for my job. The guy that plays with our singer and bassist in an original group ussually plays Crazy Train, well this night he had his gun loaded, brought his own guitar and played 3 songs, yea hes after my job. Its funny people are coming out of the woodwork wanting to play with our band, if it keeps up I may just be able to listen all night.

Kidd Lately weve been playing a lot of newer music like Kidd Rock, older Metallica, Chilli Peppers, RATM, Alice In Chains, Puddle Of Mudd

We still do the old Bad Company, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Aerosmith stuff too, but our song list has expanded dramatically since I posted that. I figure we have about 250 songs on tap to do at any given time, so gigs are no sweat.

Yea its cool these days, Ive got a great no drama band going we just go out and kick ass and take names. The only problem is that we are so in demand that we are booked all we want to do all the way into next March.

We dont even practice, we just get a cd around of any new songs we want to do and then we get together and just play them live, for me the first time I play a new song is always the best, cause we all no that its all in the chase anyway.

Kidd I think that gal was eyein my butt in my leather pants Har Har

Its funny I walk up to people in the middle of a gig like that and some of them will just start up a conversation. This past gig our singer was off the stage more than he was on it. We just all have to be careful and not run into each other.
