Nicely put, Fretwork!

Andragon,
We already had one revolution, and one bodacious civil war. (I have ancestors that served in both)

A few years ago, I was concerned that Canada was gonna split down the middle. (those pesky French speakin' rascals actin' up again)

Now, my main concern is to keep from being taxed out of my home from the property owners curse. Runaway school tax literary consumes well over a months worth of my hard earned income!

Come to think of it, perhaps our young Windsor friend is right!

REVOLUTION NOW!!!!!
HOWLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLIN"!!!!!!!!!!!

Sure nuff hope you kept 'er dry, George!

Taxes took half of all my money that I had in the bank in this past week.
Then the Brits had to sure up my bank's (Citibank) parent bank (Royal Bank Of Scotland)
THEN That senile ol' Uncle Sam saw fit to buy out Citibank!

I doubt that I have enough money left to gas up for a drive to Kilgore

You'll just have to use a handtruck for that ammo.
sorry ol' buddy'

Who said I can't? Who said I don't?

No butts; you were right before the butt. Stephen is gone anyway.

George, you don't seem to realize how deep the U.S. citizens are in sh*t, because of the AMOUNT of people who say "I dun care. It dun efect me."

Keep in mind that politics is JUST like wrestling. A lot of the "viewers" like to believe it's real. VERY real.

Actually, there are only two choices when it comes to who we put in office.

A. Those who believe people should be held accountable for their own actions.
B. Those who believe people should not be held accountable for their own actions.

All the problems we face in this country are tied directly to these two choices whether it's about crime, abortion, welfare or even the financial crises we are in today. Until we start holding people responsible for what they do we will continue on this downward spiral.

Crime is a big issue to me so for you silly left wing nuts who want to take guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens....eff you. people have the right to protect themselves and their families. Say what? That's what the police are for? Don't be stupid. The police can't prevent crime, they are only in a position to respond to one that has already been committed.

gun control means not having to fire a second shot but at the same time it means thugs gansta's and other various forms of city waste shouldn't have the means to kill each other easily..of course you can't let some people have guns and not others that's just wrong and messed up as for our actual system...its that damned electoral college that was necessary back before the public could be informed but now of days when uhhm yeah...anything said by anyone is on the "intertubes" with in minutes its unnecessary and is only another method of control...and oh yeah...potato cannons and the like can shoot more then just food...just a bit of food for thought

I have researched gun control a lot in the past 2-3 years. It's pretty interesting how you'd think that more laws would help restrict the criminal's arms (pun probably intended). Well it didn't.
"It's okay. At least these laws froze the crime rate." WRONG. It did the absolute opposite. As soon as new laws are made to halt the circulation of firearms, the crime rate increases by an average of 10%. These statistics were calculated by organizations unrelated to any government.
And I'm talkin in both the U.S. and Canada.

Think bout it logically: The government issues a set of laws that prohibit you from owning, using, or be seen with a firearm. The criminal does NOT give a fck whether there's a law for that or not. They're already breaking other laws.
"But, dude, it's gonna be harder for them to find weapons that aren't sold at Sears!"
Not really. The underground/black markets are already running smoothly - not even counting the governments' role in that. If these laws are passed, these markets would become busier and much more obvious to the average citizen.

Do you think that guns cause the most crimes or death tolls compared to other weapons and methods of death?
Logically, you'd think so... but previously mentioned statistics say no. You can make a lethal weapon out of anything. Anything.

What do I think? We all should have the right to bear arms and protect ourselves from what common sense and logical paradigms perceive as dangerous.

And yes, I do plan to write a fckin book bout it :?

No topic to get people hot like religion and politics. I am not thriled about either candidate but I know at least some issues that are VERY important to me. I have 3 loves in this world in order of priority, GOD, Family, and hunting. Any time I'm not playing guitar, I'm planning or going hunting.

The third priority in my life is defintiely gone if Obama gets in. The only person in politics who has done more damage to our rights under the second amendment during their political career is Biden. If Obama nominates the next 3 supreme court justices, the second amendment is history.

I'm interested in all the other things these candidates may or may not do, but my choice is simple because it will be an all out violent civil war if anyone starts trying to collect guns in this area and several other places in the United States and nobody is more proud of their success in that area than Obama and Biden.

Criminals are already criminals so Heaven help the people in Massachusetts and Washington DC, where only the criminals have the guns.

They have a lot of crime here in Texas, but crooks think hard before they enter an occupied house because they know the odds are there is a gun inside and someone who likely knows how to use it.

Please take time to vote and vote against Obama.

I'm registered democrat, although I vote for candidates, not party.

I look at the candidate and base my vote on their record. I never trust anything they say, you know the old adage - actions speak louder than words.

I also agree with Andragon, we are spoonfed the candidates they want us to have. The two best candidates, Kucinich and Ron Paul, were both marginalized by their peers and the mainstream media early in the debates. Kucinich was even barred from participating in most of the later debates by NBC, a move that the judge called "an attack on democracy and the election process" and ruled that NBC was to allow Kucinich to particiapte. Within days, his ruling was overturned by a Bush appointed federal judge. No matter how you feel about Kucinich, you should be appaled that your "choices" were hand-picked by those in power, and you never really had one.

Once again, this year, I will not be voting FOR a candidate, but against the other one.

Been that way since 1992. I doubt anything will change soon.
