Actually I'm cosidering running for President in 2012 being that it's a little too late to get in now. I'm forming an exploratory commitee and will post a thread here on Bandmix in the near future. I am actually starting a brand new political party. I aniticipate extreme unhappiness with the American public bordering on rebellion. Unfortuneately for now if you vote it will be for a mediocre candidate at best. Later...

Hey John! I'm running for WV governor again this year as a write-in. I've been doing this for the last 20 yrs.

This year I'm running on the secessionist ticket, & if I win the election, I'll secede from the USA, call this "Flemland," & give every WV'ian a free pack of smokes. Then we'll build a big fence around the state & charge ppl a nominal fee to enter.

I solemnly promise that my 1st act as governor will be to expunge my record.

Vote for Philby!

I'm tired of only getting a choice of "A" or "B". Especially as they have become so similar these days. Neocons and Demosocialists.
I usually vote Libertarian but it will be some time before we will ever realistically see one in the Office of President, if ever.

The Party system has failed us.
I'm for lining everyone with the job of "Politician" up against the wall, shooting them, and starting over from scratch.

LOL - I'll say no more on politics as it pisses me off to no end.

Lots of things piss me off. Having a two-party system is one of them, however that won't stop me from doing my duty as a citizen and casting my vote for the party that I believe will be able to help us the most. People who don't want to vote (or waste their vote) should move to Russia. There's plenty of other people waiting in line to take their place.

Nobody is saying to cop-out, but voting for "Turd B" because he has slightly less corn than "Turd A" out of your only viable choices of the same old turds - is more of a civic injustice to this once great Republic than writing in Howdy Doody.

Passing the buck is not fixing anything.

LOL - that's my opinion, nothing personal.

I consider myself independant. I often vote mixed ticket.
I am one of those crazy mofos who vote primarily on one issue.
If a candidate supports the Second Amendment, that is the glue that holds the whole Constitution together, then I can support him/her.
Obama would in his own words make it a crime to defend yourself against a criminal attack.
He is one EVIL bastard. And I hate him with a passion.
God forgive me. But I really do.

I'll be putting way more information on the new political party here on Bandmix. Musicians and the musci industry will be the central focus of my new administration. As you'll see, the solutions to our problems will benefit all areas of society. My vision is still in the formative stages and will come to fruition on the near future. Perhaps it will be good timing if I release all the details on Election Day. I haven't heard any of the candidates address musicians' problems directly in any of the debates. I'm tired of being IGNORED. It's time that we (musicians) take matters into our own hands and fix the problems of this fu*ked-up country once and for all. Later...

What makes a great president? We had several in our short history today our standards for greatness have been reduced to the point that if a president can utter a coherent and grammatically correct sentence, or one that has a good presence on TV, or one with a talent in symbolism without substance is considered great.

I don’t know who would make a great president but I know who I’d like to see as our leader, s/he would have to be the one who can restore America to its former greatness, who can make our Embassies around the world look like the bastion of democracy and liberty for which we once stood and remove the image of intimidating German bunker which our current leader and his foreign have reduced our embassies to, a president who can regain our moral capital and returns to us the lost credibility which once enjoyed, one who can inspire the world not intimidate, one who can turn detractors into admirers who can export democracy by way of examples not at the point of a gun, one who can promote capitalism and not predatory capitalism, one who can serve people's interests as a whole and not just special interest, one who listens to the people concerns and needs and not just lobbies particularly foreign ones.

I’d like to see a president not concern with his legacy but the legacy of our country, one whose deed and accomplishment can be seen not in his end of term library but throughout the country and the world, a president who can inspire us not frighten us, one who can protect without losing our constitution and one who can protect us using the rule of the law.

I’d like a commander in chief who can discern political and military challenges with the wisdom to know when to use one or the other, I’d like a president who can choose allies based on merits not based on foreign lobbies influence contributions and propaganda, finally I’d like to see a president with the courage to say to pseudo friends and allies America first!

Ron Paul didn't make it because the ones who run the country don't want him. They don't want him, you don't get him. End of story. What you, fools, need is a fckin revolution!! 8)
