Errr... there really wasnt a stage involved but, playing a 4th of July party at a Biker clubhouse.
They were firing off bottle rockets inside, aimed in our driection. And they had this woman bent over this chain bench sort of thing in front of us, uhh, doing stuff to herself.
It got a little rowdy that night. I caught my hair on fire very briefly (my own doing), but it was all good in the end.

Don't let PDQ Bach get word of that one.

However, this brings another performance to mind. I am so wild, I can't stand it y'all!

I was sceduled to perform for a wedding with my accompanist. The wedding took place outside ( Why anyone would plan a wedding outside in OH is beyond me ). As usual, it rained with thunder and lightning. As soon as the rain stop my accompanist and I ran outside dried off all of the chairs and told everyone to come outside now 'cuz we's bout ta play!!!! He's playing his electric piano and I am playing my lightening conducting flute. Though the rain had stopped, electrical activity continued through the pre-ceremony. But we got our "play on" and we were heard. We lived to tell about it.
