I've played at the local Joker's MC, those guys do like to rock, but the motorcycle mamas were the best! They come right up to the stage and sing along.

Hell's Angels took a liking to my son because even though he's confined to a wheelchair and has CP, They asked him to come up with us to sing a Judas Priest song... somehow they found out he loves metal!! It was probably one of the best moments of this kids live thus far! Here he is:

My son is autistic and loves good music. Good music is great for all handicapped people. We used to play at a bar where a completely deaf guy used to dance with every woman in the bar. He could feel the vibrations in his feet and was an incredible dancer. My son used to attend dances held by the school district for handicapped kids. Everybody had a great time there. I wish "normal" people had that much enthusiasm for music. Every person has something wonderful to offer to the world, no matter what their "handicaps" are. Later...

I hear that.... what's funny is that we let my son sit in on every rehearsal and it's starting to freak my singer out as my boy knows every single word to every single song we do so when my singer screws up the words (which is quite often lately) my son calls him out on it every time and makes him look like a fool.... what's getting worse is he knows when I'm a little out of tune or if I stray from my normal leads in a lot of our tunes! When my singer cancels out on rehearsals, the band members hand the mic over to my son and we are still able to go over the tunes...even the brand new ones!

Sorry to hear that, Crip (and Fisherman), but what a talented boy!
It's really amazing how they will have those unusual talents. I used to work.. volunteer for that kinda stuff.. a coupla years ago. They are honestly the only ones with true hearts of gold.

You got a gret voice too. Makes me sad to be married and in another part of the country. Hope you don't take my complement as offensive.
I'm married, not dead and JUST looking at beautiful things is what life is all about. I love my wife.

I'd really like to find a Dallas area band that my vocals would help to round out their sound, maybe altering some lead vocals to change up the sound for the audience.

"Same thing happening with Crip? Don't know."

Nothing that deep. It was just a joke-a response to Crip2Nite putting "HERE YA GO...CLICK ON ME!!!" on just about every new post. He had a legitimate reason for doing it, but I still thought it would be worth a chuckle.

Boobies!!
