Mighty Mighty Bosstones are ska, right?
I mean they suck so bad that they would make the undead run away.

I"m on soy-based products as a replacement for dairy which I found out I'm allergic to after 48 years of gastric problems not being able to digest dairy products. Many people have allergic problems with foods that become worse with age. I do occasionally eat some dairy but not anywhere near as much as I used to. Another food that I found out I couldn't digest properly was corn, so I have limited consumption of corn. I also stay away from peppers and bananas. Americans consume all kinds of harmful things. You are what you eat and if you eat crap you'll become crap. I found out the very hard way. It got to the point I couldn't sleep at night, was losing significant weight, wasn't hardly able to do any job, was going to the bathroom 20-30 times a day, overall a nightmare. Simply changing my diet brought me back to normal. I can now sleep normally, can work efficiently, don't get tired easily. If you have any annoying medical issues I heartily recommend visiting a naturopathic or holistic doctr and/or a chirpractor. Based on what I've been through our medical establishment has some seious shortcomings. As amazing as some surgical techniques and some drugs are, there's NO SUBSTITUTE FOR PROPER NUTRITION AND PROPER SPINAL ALLIGMENT. Later...
I like reggae, but I hate ska. Especially what they refer to as ska these days.
I hate cantaloupe, and, generally, hippies.
I detest drunks.
I love ketchup, tabasco, green chille, and RobinL.[/quote]

Hippie chics are the hottest thing since the Mohave desert!

Ska, like all other musical genres has good songs and songs that suck. My old song "Come on To Me" on my Bandmix profile is somewhat ska influenced.
One of my favorite ska tunes is "Mirror In The Bathroom" by the English Beat.
I consume vast quantities of brockley AND asparagus.
I agree with Fisherman Bob. The Alaskan Governor is very cool.
Our friends at CERN are finally going to fire up that large hadron accelerator today! My bet is that it won't cause the Earth to collapse into a micro black hole, as feared by some. If I'm wrong, It's been nice knowin' ya'all. I am also betting that the theoretical Higgs boson will not be detected because I doubt its existence.
Just had to get that off my chest.

Well...I've come to the conclusion that it's been WAY too long since I spent any time with an infant. Seems all I can do is terrify the little guy. He's been screeching for 5 hours straight, unless he's eating something. I fear it'll be a very long night.
HJ - they won't find the Higgs boson cuz I have it in my freezer with the quarks I stole from the Smithsonian's vestibule.
Cap - I have a psaltry & I know how to use it!
Bob - I caught a 16 inch perch on Monday. I thought that was pretty impressive, for these parts. I used a lil hard minnow lure with a treble hook. Is there some sort of technique for casting them so they don't tangle themselves up? I get that a lot with treble hook lures. They catch on the line often for me.

Yeah, I have trouble at times with treble hooks. You need to make long, SMOOTH casts so the lure doesn't spin in the air. It just takes practice. By the way a 16 inch yellow perch is quite a large one. We don't have any yellow perch around Kansas City region. I caught numerous perch while living in New Jersey. I met a bunch of fisherman there who fished exclusively for them. They're quite good to eat. Actually they're a member of the walleye family. Walleye and sauger are extremely good eating. I've caught some here and in Tennessee. The more you use lures (gotta try Mepps spinners) the better you'll get at catching fish. I haven't used bait in about thirty years. Just remember to pick a lure color that CONTRASTS with the water color (brown water-green lures, green water-orange, red lures, etc.) Your catch rate will go up when you pick the right color. Keep those hooks sharp also and use premium line (my favorite is Stren). Make sure you change the line on your reel once every two months without fail. The line does go bad pretty quick. Later...
