"I just can't seem to find a forum of any sort where people are interested in adult conversations about whatever topic might come up."

Don't put too much of your time on the internet for human interaction, but if you must, check out www.wis.dm for stimulating conversation. Be forewarned, it is cliquey but there are some intelligent people there.

Ghost. Really? You think I'm down? Maybe I am and don't realize it. I think I'm going to try what you suggest.

I will be back around Christmas....but when it is only a few days, it is hard to get out. Spending time with both my kids and the grandkids takes alot of time. But who knows, maybe get a sitter and go out one night :o what a novel idea?!?!?! Hmm the last time we were there, grandpa watched the kids and the rest of us went out. I AM NOT OLD! Dammit.

ghost 62.

While listening to the songs on your profile, I couldn't help but notice on your calendar that you're doing a benefit on the 20th to help a handicapped boy. I want to contribute to that. If you are able, please contact me to make arrangements. If not, please say so on this thread so that perhaps a Paid Member, willing to act as liaison, may contact us both and facilitate the matter.

Thanks.

Rick

Sry, was not sure I could post. They finally find a person/band looking for me and I for them and then I can not email them. Gotta pay money.

I had to give my last gig over to another musician as I had laryngitis for 3 months.

I found someone compatible but can't email them from here. They want money I guess.

What gives?

Oh, by the way, it is considered impolite to shoot real bullets at uninformed drivers. Please feel free to flip them the double bird if you know how to drive with your knees!!!

When I first moved here back in '84, the locals seemed very stand-offish. I called it hillbilly snobbery. You know the type - if my grand-daddy didn't play with your grand-daddy when they were kids, then you're a furrenner & I don't wanna know you. It bothered me at first.

Then I looked at their kids. Their children had two basic head shapes - there was the long zuccinni, & the big round basketball. Even saw a pair of maternal twins that had one of each, & I gotta say that THAT was freaky! I don't know if it was the inbreeding or the water that caused it, but to this day I'm still not drinking the water. ( I DO have a couple cousins I'd like to inbreed with, though  )
