Rocker. Even at 14 it probably comes as no surprise that those who trumpet freedom the loudest are often the very ones to want to limit yours. One of life's little idiosyncrasies.

Freedom is to be used wisely. Stupid kills.

Facts my man. I dont make threats, waste of time.
I see the aftermath of the unwise use of that freedom in the Hospital all the time. The last one was a dead four year old boy. His dad was so upset that that damned fourwheeler killed him. The one before that was a 26 year old wife trying to figure out how she was going to take care of her brain dead husband. He was too big of a man to wear a helmit. Yea those damned inanimate objects. Freedom is a double edged sword. Weald it wisely.

Why don't you worry about living your own life and let other people worry about living theirs. It isn't up to you to tell a kid you've never met he's too young to be on the internet and imply that his parents are someohow derelict in their duty. It isn't my place to tell you how to live your life either, but I'm just so sick of people trotting Jesus out in front of the American flag and whistling "Dixie", and nobody calling them on it. I'm sure you've seen your share of sorrow as a nurse, and it's obvious that your heart's in the right place, but save us the sanctimonious horse rhetoric, stay on your own side of the street, and for God's sake get a spell-checker.

Gotta side with you on this one stringfellow (which suprises me) Sorry sans I've been victimized by good christians one to many times. It puzzles me how some christians just make up the rules as they go along. I know the bible extremely well from my indoctrination as a kid growing up. It isnt from a point of ignorance I speak.

Uhh, before this blows way out of proportion, let's all count to ten and breathe deeply. I think Crip made a valid point. Let's not go into one of our usual high powered debates and, instead, give this KID an example of the way adults behave. I don't mean any disrespect to either guys...you have your differences, so be it. Sans has a point about parental guidance when it comes to the internet. Rick is also right in defending the rights of him to be on here in the first place...It's friday night and I am kind of intoxicated...can't spell, no real point here...

Kramerguy: "truthiness". I LOVE Colbert!

Oh, here comes the Undertaker, gotta go.

A few years ago we had a seventeen year old lead guitarist in the band. He was awesome. Age, race, color, sex (some women CAN be a pain in the ass), has no bearing on whether you can play/and/or sing in a band. The only thing that matters to me is that you CAN contribute and show up on time SOBER to rehearsals and gigs. As far as you're being on this website I don't think this is a site that would be frequented by predators. You're probably pretty safe here (somebody with big boobs may NOT be safe, however). Hopefully you'll find people your age to get into a band with. If not, then IF you can PLAY WELL then maybe getting with some older people may not be a bad idea. I do agree that parental guidance in your ventures may be a wise thing. If your parents aren't involved with your welfare then it's a sad thing. I see nothing wrong with parents monitoring their children's activities. If you're going to have children the least you can do is protect them. I know that you can be TOO protective, but letting them do whatever they want on the internet is IRRESPONSIBLE. Later...
