I met this guy back in the late '80's, I think. He's very good. Used to be in a band called World Without Fear, & I think they may have even been on MTV at some point.

I just got this in my e-box, & thought I'd share some of it with ya.

"Independent artist and Songwriters Hall of Fame* Award winning writer,
Scooter Scudieri takes his music to the next level with "Rattle to
Rifle" - a multimedia performance of his new 19 song CD.
Inspired by the volatile mix of religion and politics, Scooter gives
voice to the children of war as Jezum Crow - an eight foot tall
preacher of humanity giving a musical sermon.
Scudieri performs the 75 minute show on stilts in full makeup and
costume, while incorporating giant puppets, paintings, video
projection, drones, triggers, and a live drummer
into a swirling spectacle of political and social activism. Intended
for mature audiences.

"America used to be the brightest day. I am tired of staring down the
barrel of these United States. Our elected officials seem to have
forgotten "of the people, by the people, for the people."
If we are expendable, they are certainly REPLACEABLE." - Scooter
Scudieri...

"The evolution of music in the digital age is an emphasis on
performance. Enhanced presentation through artistic multimedia in
addition to viral marketing of music will drive people to
"live" events. The music will not become secondary to the performance;
it will become complimentary. While free downloads will continue to
plague both music and film, the age old
idea of "seeing is believing" will drive a new industry of multimedia
events like we have not seen since the days of KISS, David Bowie, and
Pink Floyd. The result, in my opinion, will be
an increase in ticket sales for "live" events, an increase in sales of
merchandise, and ultimately an increase in both digital music
purchases and CDs." - Scooter Scudieri...

As always, SCOOTER SCUDIERI operates without the help or hinderance of
an agent, manager, or record company.

SCOOTER SCUDIERI BIO BRIEF: In 1999, Scooter Scudieri's fans dubbed
him the Internet's First Rock Star after he raised $50,000.00 online
to create his
first solo CD without an agent, manager, or record company. His strong
views of the artist to fan digital distribution system garnered the
attention of mainstream artists and the media. By 2003, Scooter had
performed with more than 35 international acts and had toured the
country opening for Jewel during her Wild Wild West Tour. The
Songwriters Hall of Fame awarded him "Best of the New Writers" in 2003
and he was featured in numerous newspapers and magazines including
Billboard, Music Connection, The Boston Herald, and Washington
Post.com. Scooter was invited to become a member of the DCIA
(Distributed Computing Industry Association) and spoke with senators
on Capital Hill during the MGM v. Grokster Supreme Court case. "Rattle
to Rifle" is Scooter's third solo CD and a step forward in production
on an ambitious multimedia performance of the 19 song album. A
permanent installation and mobile production of the show are in the
works."

You may not agree with his message, but you hafta give this man credit for doing what needs to be done to do a good show. 75 minutes on stilts - would you do it? It would probably get a bit grueling after the 1st 20 minutes or so until you got used to it.

I couldn't do it. I know I'm a bit too "unbalanced" to pull it off.
