Hey, Belle,
I had to laugh when you said: I'll forevermore chime in. I can 'tweak' with the best of 'em."
Yep - I guess you ARE a bell, uh, I mean a Belle.

You can see my latest post (6-12-06) for what I'm trying to do - here's the shortcut:

I got burned out about 12 years ago, and stopped playing about the time I got married.
2 years ago, I started up again.
I've got a bunch of originals, in many styles, and I've been looking for anybody nearby w/ like-interests to practice with.
2 years of (mostly) self-practice - hey - I need other musicians to work with.
I play acoustic rhytme guitar, and do some complicated rhythms. I need to tie those rhythms into another instrument.
And, you know, stuff like the eye contact and nod just before the changes, too, and talking during a song ("Hey, try that in a seventh - let's see what it sounds like.") Stuff like that. What the other guy plays affects what I play.
You know how it is. Or used to be, whichever . . .
