You better believe we play Honky Tonk style. Although I personally tend to cheat with a boogie woogie flavor, but hey, what are you gonna do?

I would really like to talk to you about the copyright thing. That is the next step for us in getting our first Volume out.

I will post a new thread askinig about it. Do youthink you could take just a little time to give us a Readers Digest of what we are looking at?

I am sure many would appreciate it. :D

Honky TOnk and Boogie will never die as long as I am around though. . .

BIT - look for my post called "Copyrighting my Song - How long does it take?"
To find it quick, go to 'general chat,' and look for me as the original poster. (Samick-BluesFunkJazz).
Read through all the postings, answers and replies.
It takes you through my complete experience: from knowing nothing, to having done it twice.
You'll find all the answers you're looking for, including answers to questions you haven't even thought of yet.
I list internet addresses, form numbers - all sorts of details.
Let me know if you have any questions after reading it, but I go into quite a bit of detail . . .
Alan
p.s. - I like the idea of a honky-tonk/boogie.

Thanks brother. I see what you meant on the other post now. I will definately take a look and get back to you.

Thanks again. That's exactly what I love about boards like this.

If you want to see how we communicate in Colorado, you guys should check out peaknightlife.com

Its pretty cool, and alot of people in other scenes wish they had a local website like we do. Great way to meet other Colorado musicians, and we are always putting gigs up their, as I book in the Colorado area for many rooms as well as play.

Check it out and see what you think.

One last thing. I have a website www.ipapentertainment.com , where I not only post bookings and things of that nature, but I post articles that help fellow musicians and comedians out.

Would you mind if I posted your post on our website for folks to read?

Let me know. . .

BIT,
I just re-read the old copyright postings.
.
The posting "Copyrighting my songs - How long does it take?" is actually the followup posting, with additiona details. Although there's some other discusssion, - one or two of the postings in this thread are packed with copyright information . . . .
.
The first Copyright posting, taking you through the process is called:
"Anyone Know About Copyrighting?"
Start reading there . . .
.
The address to this posting thread is:
.
http://forum.bandmix.com/viewtopic.php?t=390.
.
Yeah, BIT, it's ok by me if you post the copyright-threads.
I'm in the middle of some research now, - I'll check out your page later (Maybe it's the same one I alread visited the other day?)
