Ok, going to bring this one back cuz I have a question and maybe some more useful info.
What format are these music files?
Computers play mp3 files just fine, the average [older] CD player won't. Only CD players made in the last 3 or 4 years are capable of mp3 as well, older ones don't because mp3 didn't exist. I don't use CDRW much, but when I want it to work on a CD player I export it to WAV file format, it plays in a CD player just fine, including in the Jeep. None of my CD players are mp3 capable, and it took a little googling to find out but WAV files work fine.
Also audio CD's supposedly work better for music files, but don't ask me why...standard data CD's have worked for me, audio CD's too.
