Hey Shredd6, My owners manuel has the V positions listed in the Tube Change Guide. I looked it up online at Carvin.com, but its the same instructions that came with the amp. Just fill me in on which one of the tubes you sent goes where. I should be able to run with it.

Really?? I went to that website and I couldn't find what I was looking for. Does your manual have a page that looks similar to this?

Usually in most preamps, your V1 is the one closest to your guitar input jack. And it's usually covered with a shield.

I did label the boxes with V1-V2- V3 on them.

No sir it's a verbal (written) desciption of location listed under Tube Change Directions. If you labled the boxes I should have no problem making the change. You have been more than helpfull my man. Such customer service is unheard of, and greatly appreciated. I'll let you know how it goes bro. Like you said, you've for sure got my back. 8)

Tubes are here! I'm going to put them in tomorrow. Just took a new job selling guns. Pay is lousy but I love it. Maybe joining up with the fuzz.
Wonder if the SWAT team needs a guitarist.

I hope I can sleep. Really eager to hear what it's going to sound like. Big rehersal tomorrow night as well. I will let you know how it goes.

Have not been able to get online for a couple of days now. Got to give Shredd6 the props he deserves. If any of you guys have questions or needs in the tube department. TED IS THE MAN! 8)
That annoying tin sound I would get off my clean channel - gone.
Great tone, greater flexability with my mids. Can easly increase the soak on the high gain channel without excessive noise / breakup. I'm exstatic, the band was like "what did you do man" Oh yes, Thank you Shredd6.
Only problem now is I hate having those groove tubes as my back up.

Well thank you George.. I'm glad you like it man.

I've actually been pretty busy selling tube packages this week. I sold 3 more after this one. People really seem to like the packages I come up with. Good feedback so far..

You really shouldn't have to worry about back-ups for a while. There are some who say NOS tubes can last 10-years. I usually say anywhere from 5-10. But there really is no telling. Your GT's will most likely burn out quicker. So if you notice any strange behavior with your amp sound, start checking the Gt's first. But you should be good to go for a good long while dude.
