Hey sans, I'm going to tack this onto this thread, although I should probably start another one but I'll do it anyway...

I'm going to Lufkin this weekend to do some work on my sister's travel trailer, leaving Saturday around noon, that should put me in Shreveport by 3 at the latest, so if you can get to Marshall or Shreveport let me know, I'll be coming back Tuesday I think, maybe we can meet up for a few if you don't mind a short road trip. I always enjoy a chance to meet people in person and will have the acoustic with me, if nothing else we can find a truck stop to meet and grab a cup of black stuff. I don't normally go through Marshall, I turn off a few miles before but Marshall is only about 15 minutes difference, and some of the other small towns along 59 or 79 would work too. Check a map and see if anything would be close enough you can cruise over that direction for a bit.

My weekend is booked up with out of town and out of state family. Some unannounced and some arranged by my loving wife ( of course I'm the last to know.) I will shoot you my number though. I'll bet you could help me out on some guitar tips you are not that far off for me to make a road trip on a Saturday. We'll arrange something in the near future, bet on it.

Cool, sounds good to me. I wasn't sure if we could set anything up on short notice, but I only found out the night before I posted the proposition. She popped in unannounced the previous evening, which was no problem except that I could have had one of my semi-famous pizzas ready when she walked in the door if I had known. She also missed out on a killer chocolate pie for the same reason. I bet she'll let me know a day ahead next time. I'm no gourmet chef but I do know how to cook up some slap-yer-mama grub...one of my nieces refuses to eat pizza at all, unless I make it. You can't get her to go to a pizza place, and if that's where everyone else goes she has salad and that's it, won't touch their pizza.

I'll be glad to try and get together sometime, but remember I work half the day Saturday, off Sunday and Monday instead. Maintenance guy at a motel, he needs it kept up on Saturdays so I get different weekends than most normal folks. Then again I never claimed to be normal anyway...afternoons still work though, so Saturday is not out of the question.

I know. I wish we were in the same corner of the world. But, at least I can say I have musician connections all over the country. I just have to become more technical so that you guys can at least hear me.

I will be sitting on " Locamotive Breath" with a band tomorrow. I hope they let me play other thangs once they see that I can kickit.
