I like the vibe.. But it's hard to hear what the singer is saying. It's cool to have that over compressed vocal sound, but not if you can't hear whats being said.

I like the music vibe though..Good guitar playing, Bass, Drums.. I'd like it a lot if it wasn't for the mix of the vocals..And I'm not even talking about the compression, the vocals are just too far in the background. The lead could use just a little more flair. It needs a little Ted Nugent craziness.

Overall.. I like the song. Good job!

The tune is typical southern rockish stuff...I like it okay even if I can't hear the singer too well.

But tell me, cuz I really wanna know after hearing your style - WHY ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A VIOLIN, A FLUTE, A TROMBONE & BAGPIPES?

Take some time to make your profile more informative. I don't even know what the hell you play, what you really want to do, what kinda equipment you have, or if that recording is even you, for that matter. I assume it's you cuz it's listed on your profile, but you seem to be looking for every fricken instrument that was used. If you have it all why are you looking? (Unless you really DO need those bagpipes!)

I mean, seriously, man, even "moderately" committed ppl tell us more when they're really looking for other musicians.

Put a little slide on it and it will sound like George Thorugood.

Needs to be remixed but I like juke joint music like this.

Philbymon I've just joined this web site still trying learning to navigate through it.
At first I didn't know what you were referring to when you said you didn't know what I was looking for, than I checked under "looking" where it showes that I 'm searching for what appeared to be an entire orchestra, that list was not compiled by me, It shows up by default and I didn't know it.
I've up graded my profile I hope it works, if I get contacted by a bag piper than I'll know I'll have to up grade it again.

I found the rest of the comments from you and others to be on the mark, it is a retro tune, it was written more than 15 years ego, as for the mixing, I agree needs improvement, I'm still working on it, I love to make music but the recording and production phase it's a drag.

LOL!! Sorry, fretwork, I didn't realize there even WAS a "default seeking list" made by BM. That explains a lot of other profiles, too!

Glad you updated yours. It looks MUCH better.

I try not to complain about recording qualities too often, cuz we're supposed to be musicians first, here.

Best of luck with your search. You sound quite good enough to play music with, by my standards, even if SR isn't my preference in genre. I like nearly all that you listed in your influences.
