Thanks Craig,

Shredd 6,
Sorry to hear about your tree. (I bet they're getting scarce in Vegas.) Did you consider makin' stair rail out of it?

Hunter,
Sorry for hijacking your thread, but if you check out my other hobby, you may come to understand why putting the Gin House Rockers back together is such a slow process. I'm a lot slower builder then you and Craig and Neanderpaul and myself are songwriters.

Made good progress today, however, preparing to lay 1000' of infloor radiant heat tubing. Later in the summer (hopefully during my vacation from the ol' day job), I will be pouring the concrete slab. I have a 4 cu. foot mixer, and about 40 tons of sand and gravel. And all this time, I bet you thought I got my hernias were from lifting speaker cabinets. I literally lifted the whole damn house by myself. (it's my second one)

Still have time to rock with the band and yak with you folks .

life is good!

Cool man!!

Bridge Lyrics:

Don't forget your leash
I hope it chokes you
And drags you underground
So I can watch you
Burn

Not sure if you knew that or not, I get asked about those lyrics all the time.

I was hoping to get them all. I'll have to have them in front of me for a while practicing before I record it. Stoked man stoked! Fatty song indeed!

Do you need to adopt a son?? How 'bout a personal live in Carpenter?? Hahaha..That's a really nice house Howlin. Yea, usually in homes in the wilderness, you get away with code issues..If you need any online help with stair stuff don't be afraid to ask. Hell, it is a general chat forum, you could start a thread on it at any time.

Good luck with the concrete. Looks like you've got your hands full.

What's nice to see, is that John and Shredd could easily build a kick ass stage with drums risers and stairs for the highly anticipated annual BandMix jam!!! WooHoo!!!

Hunter.. I went through some of my acoustic riffs, and I have a couple KILLER ones to choose from that I haven't done in a while..

Originally they were my covers for Korn's Daddy, and NIN's Piggy. So there are a few choices here.

Since I change the guitar structures and arrangements so much for my covers, the music is unrecognizable as being covers for the songs I used them for. They are in reality my own riffs, so they can be made to be originals as well.

So we can either decide to do one of the covers, or make an original. What are your thoughts?

I also have original music for when I did A Perfect Circle's Blue, in case that interests you.

I honestly think an acoustic song would be our strong point for a collaboration. I did nothing but acoustic music for a good 6-years, so I'm really comfortable with it, and you seem to be as well. I think it'll showcase our voices perfectly. Or, if you'd like, you can give Burn a shot. Acoustic Burn??? Hmmm.. Never tried that. Whatever, it's all good with me.

Heck no, I didn't forget the Philmeister!

And someone, maybe it was Pete, seems really knowledgeable about electronics, so I'm sure we could get a killer sound system up and running too! :-)

Shreddo & Hunter,

I'd like to hear you boys conjure up an arrangement of "Solitary Confinement". Basically Hunters version but with the awesome Burn type tube tone! 8)

Ok. I'd really like to hear those acoustic clips though, and I'll write words.
Any more to add?

I'll have to re-record them. I only have them recorded on my Tascam (cassette) 4-track.

So it might take a little time. But this should be really cool. I'm looking forward to it.

Use sendspace.com guys. It's free. You can upload big files and send a link to download. Jimmy Danger has sent me large wavs that way.
