Took me awhile, but I found the link. Sheesh! Could you be a lil more cryptic next time?

I have some pliers & a hacksaw...bet I could teach him to scream & roar with the best of them.

Yeah...it's funny, yet oh so sad.

The "ish miles West" is a link too. Clever. My scream is a loud rasp that comes from the upper throat. My roar is a croak or a gutteral growl. With some wailing and whispering thrown in between. The more air pushed, the higher the pitch.
I don't use it though. 8)

Wow...That dude is retarded...Not everyone can be taught to scream...And I don't know what he means by "Roar"...Does he want to sound like a lion? Idiot...

RYAN!!!!!

NEVER call an Irishman an idiot! (especially when hes got a Guinness in hand, which, by the way, is proof positive enough that he is definitely NOT an idiot!)

Sorry Ry.

I thought you were referring to Celtic Rich. Now I'M the friggin' idiot!

Anyways, now that I understand the subject, it may interest you to know that some time back, I heard a radio show (I think it was on N.P.R.'s "All Things Considered) about a school that teaches aspiring rock screamers how to scream without damaging their voice. Maybe the dude in the want-add isn't such an idiot after all!

I mean, I know there ARE schools for that. And you could always learn from Melissa Cross' DVD, "The Zen of Screaming"...But the fact that this guy posted on craigslist means he has no idea what he's doing. A school is not going to answer your craigslist ad.

I repeat what I said before. This is how you do it without damaging your vocal cords. And yes, you can scream/roar without damaging your vocal cords.

And again, I don't do it.
