Going to be playing the new Paul eh! Oh yea ! Rock on bro!

OK, Stupid question time from the dime seats.
Why the Paul and the Strat, Diff sound for Diff songs?
Or just cause you want to / can?

Heehee.. Um yes... very different sounds for different songs... I do have quite a few Pauls but desperately wanted a Strat.... but had to get the deluxe Strat cause it has an awesomely different sound.... the bridge pickups pack quite a wallop!

WOW!! I'm at work at the moment which means the computer I'm at has no sound board....but the visual alone kept my interest peaked!

Tips: If you are doing covers with the band go over each and every song a million times till you perfect it and don't move on to the next unless you are all 100% sure that's the way you want it to sound live! Spend lots of time alone...by yourself listening and taking apart each and every tune! I try to get the leads down to my songs note for note which requires a lot of stopping...rewinding ...playing...stopping...rewinding...playinc,etc... till I've figured out the exact lead and I won't preceed to do anything else until I'm satisfied that I can do each song in my sleep!

Suggestions: find musicians with the same determination and passion for whatever venue you are trying to accomplish! Once your band has perfected at least 15 tunes, find clubs and booking agents in your area that are willing to give you an opening 45 minute slot somewhere....even if it's at a ridiculous hour and NO PAY!!! There will be lot's of showcase gigs with no pay... you're lucky if you don't hafta shell out anything for the soundman! If you guys are good, after a while word will spread and try getting as many friends and relatives down to your gigs as much as posssible... The clubs love to see new faces in their establishment.

You have to eat dirt in the beginning and it's a long way till you start getting a set salary in the giant clubs...unless you want to stick to little restaurants or tiny little pubs, ya gotta be in it for the exposure...not the $$$$!

Right after work, I'm heading for the studio and from there I'm playing a gig at a really nice club out here so tomorrow I'll give your vid a "look-see" .... I always wanted a female singer to put a twist on the type of male oriented songs we do... if I found the right one, that would definitely move us up a notch!!
