Thanks Mike! I just had that running around in my head like a million others do everyday. When it's in my head it usually only takes about an hour or so to come up with something else to get it completed and that was just a short take. You know I always thought it would be cool to have a double-headed guitar attack with a blues type dude and a neo-classical type dude in the same band. Too bad that we're so far apart man. Alot of my main stuff (which I won't post here) is very heavy and intertwining which leaves room for some killer harmonies and dual leads as well along with head smashing rhythms.

BTW way your stuff rocks as well bro and you'd definetly be the other guitarist that I'd be looking for for my projects. It would be crazy killer! Maybe someday we'll both find what we're looking for...

Later brother,

Dave Crowe (Shred)

O.K. Mike. Here's the first two with a different twist on them with the new setup and all. I'm still trying to dial it in, but it's close enough for now. Only problem is though is that the frequency response that I recorded at is waaaaaaay beyond what computer speakers can really handle let alone this player. Even my Harmon Kardons with a Sub had issues, but my Behringer Truth Monitors played it back flawlessly. Anyhow they're just "ideas" that I come up with everyday anyway and only play one time through. Hope that you dig em' man...Someday I'll put up some of the other stuff from the projects when I can...

Nice work, shred9...love the way it flows from slow & melodic to the speedier stuff. It would make a good showcase in a metal song, where the band walks off the stage & lets you rip for a bit before returning to finish the song.

I'd like to hear some guitar harmonies in it, in places, too, esp toward the end (as the band returns piece by piece).

I always have thought it would be really cool to start a show piece by piece, as if these guys were just wandering around and decide to join in.
Then finish the last song in the same manner. one by one just kinda fade out and wander off in different directions.

It's funny that you guys mentioned that because that's exactly what it's supposed to be, but the entire version is 10 minutes long so I can't put it up here. That is just a little part of it without the main riff and the melodies. Just a little taste of what the whole piece really is. Everything that I'll post here is "just a part" of the whole so to speak.

In Hanover Fist the band would start a heavy, gloomy riff and I'd be off-stage and then start rippin it up and all of a sudden appear from nowhere. Once people could see what is going on on that fretboard they'd freak out man. If I had a band that could hang and let me write the way that I want to, then that would be great, but I don't and still can't find anyone that has the necessary skills. That's why I'm here...

On a different note though you guys rock and I'm glad to talk to other musicians that are as serious as I am myself. Thanks guys for listening. I'll throw a couple more rhythm ideas up that I came up with this weekend for you guys to check out. I know you like metal Sans so you'll probably dig em'.

Hey there brothers! Until I can get some more stuff recorded, which I hope to be tonight, I finally got my myspace musician page up and going fairly well, but I have to re-do the html/css codes for the font color. It's a little hard to read right now, but if you scroll up and down it can be read easier. Anyway check it out and I'd love to add you guys as friends because that's what you all are here to me.

Here's the link: http://www.myspace.com/shreddinthroughtimelessness

Hope you guys like the layout. Looks like there's 7 different code areas that I've got to change for the text color. I'm going to change it to blood red. 8)

O.K. Sans the man...Here's a little METAL tid bit that I came up with last night and I figured that you'd probably dig it bro seeing as how we're both metalheads and all. I called it "This Is What Happens When..." Man I just wish that I had more time to record lately because I'd have like a hundred ideas done by now, but then the weekend is coming up quick! :D

I'll be leaving a thanks for the add comment on your guy's page, so thanks for the add man.
