Hi guys :D

I recently picked up Adobe Audition recording and mixing software and included with it was a huge selection of sound loops. One that caught my ear was a selection of single notes and chords played on the Japanese instrument called a Koto. I was feeling out the software and decided to include them in a little tune. Click my profile and check it out and let me know what you think.

I can't really call this a completely original tune since I used loops for all the drums and some of the guitars. The bass and keyboards and some of the guitar are all me.

It could definitely use a screaming guitar lead over the second section but while my guitar playing has been known to make people want to scream I can't play a screaming lead.

Sweet.

Good job.

At 1:52 makes me think: ELP meets Dixie Dregs.

Both of which were early faves of mine.

Koolin,

That sample loop sure 'nuff sounds like a koto to me! (sometimes it takes on a banjo aspect). Kool job on the "Ying and Yang " composition.

I must admit that about the only koto music that I am famillier with is from an album that I have by the bamboo flute master, John Kaisan Neptune. He has two koto players and percussion accompining him on that recording.
