General Music Chat

This is the band that I was in when I registered here, we had to kick the singer out for various reasons and we were searching for a new singer. Of course we've all moved on to different projects now but man I sure did enjoy playing in this little band, fun, loose and fast, good times!
I'm not sure why I never bothered to post any tunes, guess I always assumed that interested peeps would check out our myspace... anyway I've posted a few, feel free to peruse and tell me what you think. Oh yeah and if any local singers are interested, I'm sure the guys could find the time to fire the Okra machine up again as a side project.

Sounds like Y'all cooked up some damn good gumbo to me! Awsome covers with a whole lot of good time energy! That band is definitly a "keeper" in my opinion!

Ahah thanks for the kind words man. Yeah I thought we had a pretty good thing goin too, I know it was fun as hell anyway.
The one thing that was hard to do was build a set list when almost all the songs we played were under 3 minutes. We had to have close to 80 songs for a standard 3 set night. So we had to pull songs from the most unlikely places, wish I had a copy of "You Are My Sunshine" and "Amazing Grace", we got the funniest looks from the crowd when we played those.
