George,
I just gave "You Guide My Way" a listen, And It Sounds like you guys are comming along nicely. Ray does put a lot of good energy in his vocals. I'm curious about the lead guitar playin', Is that You? Nice job!
Although you say Ray penned the lyrics with his wife in mind, it seems to me y'all could cash in on it as a Christien rock tune as well.(strikes me as having those kinds of overtones)

There are two versions of YGMW on the player. The lyrics and basic chord progression was written by Ray a couple years ago actually when we first got together. The Live version was done and recorded by a Church in Tyler Texas. Yes I do play (and wrote) the lead on that one (I was quite nervous for some reason and cut my lead short in the beginning ) The Acoustic version I posted today Ray recorded for his wife as YGMW is her favorite song we do. But she prefers acoustic to Rock. so on that version Its just Ray picking and singing for her. If you heard the live version you should hear Ray do the acoustic version. His vocals are improving greatly with practice. Sorry if I misguided you He is singing about Christ.

Ray does create a good energy with his vocals.Tone of voice reminded me a bit of IRIS (GOO GOO DOLLS). I did give Life( my revelation) a listen. Were you a Sabbath fan? nice heavy guitar feel. Keep on keepin' on! :D

Yes I like Sabbath the band and the Day. I also like Kiss and Alice Cooper.
I could go on and on about my Metal / Hard rock influence. And love to play that song with the feedback sreaming. It just a little much for some folks however.
Thanks for the listen.
